I have played the demo many times (both online and offline) and have encountered no lag whatsoever.

Lag: yes, occasional

Just on shooting, though. Seems you have to pre-load the shot input to get a clean catch and shoot sometimes. Could just be the demo, and user error is also a distinct possibility.

So I guess the consensus is PS3 is the most smooth offline with both systems having a few problems online? I'm playing the PS3 version, but I don't play online, however; I can say offline play is smooth as a goose.

Why not just test the PS3 online lag for yourself ? you have the resources to do it.

I would say the online for PS3 is pretty smooth.

FYI - I've had a couple of games where input lag (shots, passes, etc) was apparent, but the game's frame rate was still smooth. Based on my experience with 2k12, I believe this is just isolated to specific connections as I had the same problem with specific people I played in OA.

After 13 games, finally had my first game with bad lag. It was weird because the stick controls weren't too bad (although there was a noticeable delay), but the button inputs made it unplayable. I kid you not, when I pressed R1, I could just about count to 2 before the icons actually appeared.

But played two more games after this and everything was fine again.

Lag: 16 games (1 lagged)

All games have input lag or... a high latency. It makes playing defence near impossible

I had lag once out of 10 games it wasn't that bad i said waiting for player then it stopped
