Re: What are your feelings towards the Control Stick?
Doin the moves isn't an issue. I've no problem executing crossovers/behind the back/hez etc - My personal issue is that it just doesn't feel right. I see no need in having two sticks for dribbling. It was fine the way it was (IMO)
I'm a broadcast guy myself, never liked 2k cam.-----------------------------------------

As of now, I don't like it. Hopefully that changes with more time.Comment

Re: What are your feelings towards the Control Stick?
Its good, but I will likely switch the scheme in the actual game to make the right stick the shot stick by default.
I like the control stick except the fact that certain moves are not contextual, such as the in and out dribble. My natural instinct is to do an in and out gesture as opposed to an out-out gesture. The behind the back dribble is another one, where you just press back as opposed to the semi-circle motion. I'm sure I'll feel much better about it with some practice though.Comment

Left stick is for movement, right stick is for dribbling or shooting in the retail version. Last years style felt restricted because if i wanted to make a move if would always be random based on where my player was going. Now its not random cause you can move your player and dribble independently.

The control stick is decent...I like it better than old isomotion...but I'm disappointed in the sense that I thought it was going to be more reactive to stick movements and more natural...a LA the OLD NBA live 2004s...2005s...just less "arcadey" looking. Move it left..he crosses left immediately...half circle..he does a behind the back dribble immediately ..etc etc. As it is..there's a delay between the stick movement and the actual move the player does...its not quick and twitchy like I expected it to be. I didn't know I was going to be double taps in directions to do simple moves...I wanted all the motions to be natural/makes sense situations.
...maybe next gen I guess.
Still loving the game though..I was expecting this game to be the best 2k ever but as it stands now NBA 2k7 is still my favorite 2k as far as for its time.

Re: What are your feelings towards the Control Stick?
I prefer dribbling to be default with the LT rather than vise versa because you dribble more so i'd rather not have to hold down the trigger as much. I wouldn't say I love them just yet but i certainly don't hate them. I like them and am still getting used to them. Once i get the controls down i'm sure i'll love what i can do.Comment

Re: What are your feelings towards the Control Stick?
With the camera angle on the demo and the current setting on of the control stick, it's making it annoying to try to learn the controls. Once I'm able to change the camera angle and set the control stick to absolute, I'm sure I'll like the control stick.Say "No" to railroaded MC modes.Comment
