I stopped caring about the reviews a long time ago, but still can't stand the incompetency those reviewers show. Watched the vid review only - so basically 9.1 because there was no tutorial although training camp is back and they're basically the same thing..then, the menus hard to navigate - I've never had problems with them

to sum up, the author, because of his omissions, had some minor issues and he only gives it a 9.1

that's unfair and I post it because I want the creators of this baby to be appreciated like they deserve to

Review is sub-par, to be kind. Sounds like the only gripes were that the reviewer didn't like the menus, you have to press the B button after saving (god forbid!) and that the game doesn't hold your hand with the controls. Last I checked, true gamers liked figuring out the ins-and-outs of a game's mechanics instead of being spoon fed everything. And hell, there's a manual for crying out loud.

Almost a full point off and those 3 tiny things were all this guy could come up with? Give me a break.

Dude didn't even talk about Association and My Team modes. And if he couldn't get a good impression of the online modes (which he also didn't discuss), then he should've waited a bit for the online servers to fill up after launch. IGN has waited to make reviews until after launch before, I don't know why they didn't here if getting Online impressions was evidently a problem. rage.

2K12 was rated to high. The only reason 2K12 scored higher was because Jordan, Magic, and Bird were on the front covers.

I don't take IGN reviews for sports games serious at all, especially 2k. In fact this is the first I've read from them in a while and it didn't seem to have much substance at all.

I hope the Move List is in FREESTYLE like in 2K11.

This was an impartial review. Nothing about mycareer, online nothing about Assoc

Just a review for the sake of a review. Like many losers on the internet, they want to be the first to say "Fisrt!"

That was a really basic review. I dont care much for what IGN has to say about games I Prefer GameTrailers they tend to go more into the games than a brief overview you get from IGN. They seemed to just go well The Controls are Great, Animation is Great and looks like a real NBA Game, My Player is just as good as 2K12, Justin Bieber is in the game bad 2K. I find it hard to believe this is just bellow 2K12 I think they only rated this just bellow because of 2K12s use of Classic Teams and focus on legends rather than 2K13 really focusing on the current NBA more so than last year.

Oh IGN, your reviews continue to get worse and worse. I honestly couldn't tell you the last time I took one of their reviews seriously.

Sounds like that reviewer was trying out material for his terrible stand up routine than actually reviewing the game. The 'kooky' shoe creator feature? Really?

Somebody owes us a insight to Association. My player is cool, but Association is important to offline guys like me.

Ok ya'll i really want to know what more are you looking for? they told you the additions, sim control, new cba, and jumping in the middle of the season but yet ya'll still complain about now enough info. Well I got you. Association is still the same but just the new added things...

The most uninformed and skimpy review I've ever watched/read. There is more info in the 2 page instruction manuals that come with games these days.
