I think you can get two different animations, they seem to trigger kinda randomly.
Maybe I'm doing it right but maybe not cause until I see a video I can't be sure that what I'm seeing is the same as the people who have the move down pay (I think part of my confusion is that I'm wondering if the camera view affects this at all)

      I can't personnaly record myself.

What camera angle you're using? I'll try see if its any different.

What you should be getting is like a very smooth animation of a pumpfake into a jab, or something close to it. It's something the AI does often.

I switch a lot between broadcast stadium or generic, beluba and 2k cameras (the motion never looks quite right to on any of them)

Well Beluba(Mike Wang) has been dropping some knowledge on the forums lately and I think this would be a good thread to share his tips, with some of you that might have missed them, so here are the links to his quotes from the Advance Controls Thread, where you can view the move list for NBA 2k13.

He also answered questions regarding demo difficulty, some post moves, right sticking dribbling settings, the scripted size-ups and shots(bank shots, floaters, runners)

Please recommend this thread, if you have questions regarding Runners, floaters, Isomotion, driving, and Bank shots. Thank you

Thank you Beluba for dropping these gems on us and taking time out of your busy day to answer some of our questions. Having conversations with the developers is one of many reason why Operation sports is so special. Also thank you to Steve_OS for giving this thread a sticky, so we can always return to this thread for some help.

Me personally I know the Isomotion tips have worked wonders for me and I hope they will help you out as well.

Use the stutter step in the combo, I don't know a set combination, but that has helped me get a few. Also, make sure your player has the anklebreaker sig active to have a higher chance.

I wouldn't even give out a combo to break ankles at any given moment, it's like 2k11 when you could just nudge the LS and then do a quick cross to get open. It's corny imo and it's cheesy, then again idk even know if most of us on here are sim heads anyway.....

Just read the defenders movements and then use the proper launch move to explode and get to the bucket.

Man that's true that Broadcast looks great. After watching so many games felt like giving it a go again and I'am not disapointed. Definately gona take a while getting used to but it looks really good.

(Ja i know bit off topic but the impressions thread is gone).

They need to take those animations out until they can get it right. The way it comes off looks down right HIDEOUS.

They removed it from the game unfortunately.

Combo I found out. While moving forward without turbo push the right stick back 3 times quite fast. Don't wait till it plays it out, just do it 3 times. If you start with the ball in your right hand you will always finish with the ball in left hand.

You can also do only 2 behind the back and chain with a crossover or a behind the legs. I find it's not as effective.

Haven't tryed it against a human yet, but It looks good I think.
