    Re: Beluba's Isomotion Tips

Not all sizeup moves have explosive launch branch points, but most do.
So can you explain then, what is the point of a sizeup move that has no explosive launch branch points? Just to look pretty? Why would anyone ever do a sizeup move if they can't branch an explosive launch off of it?

I guess. I usually associate sizeup moves with an explosive launch at some point. But you're right, they can be used to create space too.

I'm finding holding turbo while sizing up gives me an explosive launch all the time, try it out.

Yeah, I prefer this now, instead of sizing then pressing turbo to launch, (holding turbo during size-ups) all you have to do is press the left stick in the direction you want to go. Also doesn't effect stamina that much.

When you dribble between your legs from a standstill, you can dribble the ball backwards through your legs to the other hand really quickly. I've done it accidentally, but I have no idea how to do it at will.

You don't even have to hold turbo. Just tap it & they'll explode out of the move.

The way you dribble it between your legs go back the opposite way quickly to go backwards through your legs. So if you're going at an angle downward to the left, assuming the ball is in your right hand. Go at an angle upward back to the right hand. Hope that makes sense.

You don't have to hold turbo while doing size-ups, I just find it easier to get past my defender because I don't have to press turbo when he reacts to one of my moves, all I have to do is press the LS in the direction I want to go.

could someone post a video showing how to break down a defender -like what to look for when breaking down a defender and how to do the moves.

Me and JerzyReign should have some videos for the sim community. I'll do the isomotion stuff I just need to save my pennies for a hdpvr.

I have found the hesitation to be very effective to get by defenders with quick point guards. If your matchup is a slower point guard they are in for a long night. It works best on transition and isolation. Just point the right stick toward the goal and wait for the defender to react. press turbo and voila. This move has been very effective on getting past my defender.
