Are you using the new controls? A crossover is a simple flick to the non ball hand and a spin is a complete circle beginning towards the ball hands side (?). Going home on lunch to play -- I may have the spin backwards.

Sounds like you're pressing LT (L2).

I dont understand how the cpu defence can take away open lanes so fast or why my big men rarely dunk under the net when Im holding L2 + R2, it is frustrating the hell out of me

              Re: Beluba's Isomotion Tips

I don't have any problems pulling off dribble moves but my problem is the combos in which to use them... I don't cheese the same moves over an over either but I can't seem to get the CPU defender off balance, are there any moves that any off you out there see consistent success with? I don't play on-line so this question is basically for off-line players

Quick hesitation and branch it with a behind the back.

So if the ball is in your right hand (and we're using absolute) you will do a quick flick right with the right stick then right after you have to push the left stick forward to explode and the right stick back for the behind the back.

Might seem pretty hard said like this but it's actually pretty easy. Its definately the move the AI bites the most. That and the explosion from thripple threat.

Is this the same move referenced on page 1? If not I applogize for thinking it was.. Triple threat step overs an jabs have always worked for me when combined with step back jumpers...

iM still having trouble getting past the defender.
It like im mainly just doing hesitations, crossover, behind the back move.
Im not just flicking the stick randomly but I can't get a fluid motion of moves to get past the defender. I end up have to just take the shot or pass it.

One tip. If you are at 3 pt range.. Let's say if you have ball in your right hand flick rigt stick to left and then quickly left stick to right and he'll do nice in and out and then explode to left. It works for me. Another thing I like to do is is Stutter step, cross trough legs, stepback and explode to the side where I came from to stepback.

Try this, do a move, most of the time the cpu will not move. once you intiate the move, the CPU will move, as he is moving use a counter move a spin, crossover, between the legs, behind the back to get past him. You can also get past the defender if you attack him at a angle, so when you launch don't go a full straight line, try angling it a little this should give you a blow past animation, this isn't cheese because it can be counter it's just attacking the defender's foot. Once I get my hdpvr I can break this down a little more.

Are you looking for the stumble animation or do you just want to get by them?
