Whats the bug?

Game freezes during cut scenes between quarters, half time, and end of the game

What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in? (Gameplay, Franchise, Online, Front End, etc.....)

Gameplay, All Star mode.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

Every single game no matter which team, the game will freezing after a quarter ends. Sometimes the game will unfreeze and game continues. But most of the time I have to restart my xbox

How often can the bug be reproduced?

every single time

Do you have video or pictures?

no

update: This glitch could be due to my external hard drive. I took the harddrive out and it seems the game is running smoothly.

Question--

Is it a glitch/cheese if say Westbrook like 10-15 times a game just dribbles forward..gets close/inside the paint, spins, fakes and lays it in?

I've heard that spin is a glitch but this guy didn't spin, bam, score, he spun, faked, and scored. To me he was just schooling my @@@ but I was wondering if SPINNING in particularly was still cheezy, especially that many times.

I haven't played 13 much other than 5 v 5 teamup online with friends so I'm not up on the current cheesing, just remember it was bad/exploitable prior years.

Everywhere from start to finish EVEN in-game with those never before seen (thanks god) presentation elements!

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

Unfortunately i can recreat it... everytime i play NBA 2k13

From start to finish of a gaming session

Do you have video or pictures?

No, the colors and the "bling" presentation elements would break the camera!

it would be nice if they addressed the actual issues with the game instead of plastering us with overpriced shoes/jersey's and roster updates that are absolutely useless....

every time they add a stupid shoe or jersey they mess up the core game.

cuz we all care about durant's signature show when the game freezes....


I feel like a boob for buying this game but i promise i will not buy 2k14,15,16,17 etc

Is anyone else having issues playing playoff games in Online Associations? My brother and I played all of games, but then advanced the rounds after winning and now we can't play our conference finals games. It tells us there are no games available, but its the day the game is suppose to be played. Now we are 0-2 and our games keep getting simmed without the ability to play.


Any help?

Is anyone else having issues playing playoff games in Online Associations? My brother and I played all of games, but then advanced the rounds after winning and now we can't play our conference finals games. It tells us there are no games available, but its the day the game is suppose to be played. Now we are 0-2 and our games keep getting simmed without the ability to play.

My friends and I have had this happen two years in a row. Conference championship games are unavailable and we have to sim the rest of the playoffs. Quite annoying since we are in opposite conferences and the fun of the playoffs is meeting in the finals. We will be trying one more year and if it happens again we are gonna call it quits. Unfortunately this is one of many bugs that cripple this mode. It had such potential.

Last night we finished the finals and we are waiting our 48 hours before we can play again (what a joke). Then my entire team said they were going to for free agency, but they magically accepted contract extensions which they didn't have or I didn't give them. But the good news is that all of them actually were signed for $0 so I have about 90% of my cap room free.... I honestly don't know how they could ship with these bugs.

My friends and I have been seeing the same issues in our online franchise. This mode is completely unplayable with these game-breaking bugs. And quite frankly, it makes me never want to buy another 2K game in my life.

-Every year the playoffs are grayed out and you have to sim the games?
-Salary cap is completely busted. $0 salary players, and 70 rated players making $15 million a year
-The AI for CPU team management is garbage. Easy enough for you to win a championship, yet be able to trade for 3 of the top 5 first round picks the following season? Come on.

Really 2K? I've bought every 2k since 08 and this might be the last one if they don't fix these UNSHIPPABLE bugs.

Please if anybody knows a way to fix this bug...

All of a sudden today when I tried to load up the game, it gets stuck at the start up screen and says "custom shoe data" and freezes up. Have re-started my ps3 8 times and nothing. I downloaded the game off of psn almost a month ago and never had any issues till now... Anybody know what gives?
