Re: Honestly, I just want more legend teams..
I feel the threadstarter. I'm hoping for some more legend DLC teams too. I'm willing to pay extra money if that would be the case.
How much for the turrible Chuck and the 1993 Phoenix Suns for inclusion in 2K13?

Re: Honestly, I just want more legend teams..
This is true. Many of the players did in fact have cyberfaces. Most of the prominent players seemed to be real while the supporting players were so well made that they might as well have been real. Blazer used a mix of the players already included in classic teams as well as the extra players found in the Legends DLC, so even guys like Shawn Bradley, Mark Eaton, and you Vince Carter were accounted for. Unfortunately, I have my doubts that the DLC players will return this year.
Fingers crossed that those players are all hidden on the disc!
As for DLC for legends, I would love to see more focus on complete teams/seasons. If 2k went this route and made it DLC I would support it. Give us 5 team packs, rivalry packs, even season packs and I'll pay a premium for it no problem. Whatever is needed to get the retro fix!Comment

Re: Honestly, I just want more legend teams..
Anyone else feeling the same? I know they eliminated a few key players that were instrumental to their teams in that era (from what I read they took out Kareem, Dr.J, eric snow etc for whatever reason) But I would be willing to pay an extra amount of cash for DLC teams. I know the focus has shifted on the current players of today, but there is a HIGH demand for teams from the early '00s and 90's and also some that were left out of the mold when 2k released their 2011 edition (2k12) last year. I'm sure it would be possible to do this, but is 10 additional teams too much to ask for? even if it were only 3 more, that would make me a bit satisfied in the meantime. I just don't feel compelled to play with the 98 lakers if they weren't even known for competing for a championship that year. playing with the 00 lakers would be much more satisfying. OR playing with Grant Hill's pistons of the mid to late 90's. the second run of badboys. AND NOW that we have charles included in the game, give us the 93 SUNS! the biggest hurdle we had to climb over was the license to charles's likeness. now that we have it, why haven't we put it to good use OTHER THAN the implementation of the dream team? I'm really grateful for the commitment to the series, and the fact they once again delivered an impressive product. but I speak for a lot of people when i say we could use a few more DLC's. if money rules the world, so be it, but at least me make me be able to use it for a DLC of new legendary teams. as much as I like the 01' sixers, to see that its the ONLY new NBA team added is a bit disparaging.Comment

Re: Honestly, I just want more legend teams..
I agree with you 100% man I an with you, it was VERY dissappointing for 2k not to build from what they did this year and that is why i will NOT buy this game. If you want to focus a bit more on current players that is one thing but to totally not give the classic players/teams there due was not good in 2k part. Classic players and teams are as real big hit and for them to have the rights to the Greatest Player of all time in Michael Jordan along with others greats and the best you can do this year is piece together players you already had in the game with the exception of barkley and Laetner to make the Dreamteam whic is pointless without FIBA competition to play against. That who Dreamteam vs 2012 team bit is a wast of time (Dreamteam would destroy them). Then for them to finally add Iverson and a sixesr team with missing players seemed lazy.No Greates Mode, But they turn around and create a SUPER STUPID celeb team staring Justin Beiber that is a huge turn off man that is no where near worth $60, last year 2k was going in the right direction this year they totally went south maybe this years game is for the 14-15 year old NBA fans. Very Dissapointed in 2k this year
I have faith that the roster creators on 360 will find a way to dig up the DLC legends from last year assuming they are on the disc somewhere. Even if we only have the teams from 2k11, hopefully PB makes some seasons again...Just have to hope the gameplay is on point so those guys get into it.Comment

Re: Honestly, I just want more legend teams..
Don't think 2k can afford to keep doing these legend teams forever anywayIt can get expensive..
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment

Re: Honestly, I just want more legend teams..
I just want to see the a couple Pacers teams of the mid 90s with Reggie, Smits, and the Davis boys so I can relive the Pacers/Knicks rivalry of the 90s. Along with the 93 Suns of course. Maybe next year they will focus on classic teams again and spend a lot of money on it so they can afford the rights for players needed?Comment

Re: Honestly, I just want more legend teams..
This is why they should charge us extras for Legend teams. I am sure they could make up the cost with the sales they get from that.Comment

Re: Honestly, I just want more legend teams..
It's a big risk that I'm not sure they'd be willing to take. Take the risk and lose money...then what? From a business standpoint, you take risks but not ones you aren't almost 100% sure will pay off in the end.Comment

Re: Honestly, I just want more legend teams..
Where's LD2K to let us know what the thinking was with the legends this year, he jumps on every thread somebody is talking up 2K. I guess he doesn't want to answer any hard questions so he doesn't respond. Although, i feel if he had a pair he would. Just my opinion."Aim for the bushes"Comment

Re: Honestly, I just want more legend teams..
I`d be more than happy if 2k released "2k12 special edition" containing all the legends in the DLC, the 91 Warriors, the 02 Kings, plus the ability to trade every single player in the game to every team avaiable. Everything right out of the box.
That would be something to keep because I doubt we`ll be seeing the next years the legendary squads we saw in 2k12.Comment

Re: Honestly, I just want more legend teams..
id much rather get charged extra for a crew dlc... which i think is more likely scenerio than a repeat of last year, people will buy crew dlc, unlike buying legends showcaseComment
