The Penny Vs aren't Retros.. They're the newest addition to the air penny line. The released in October of this year I think. So penny never wore these in his playing days but I doubt 2k adds them. It'd be awesome if they did though.

The Air Penny V were released in the 90s my friend. They just recently release newer colors. The 2K shoes even show that lol.

The V are a whole new show introduced this year.

No it wasn't lol (unless I missed it growing up lol) its a new shoe addition to the line man. It just has that retro feel of the other Air Penny's wrapped into one shoe.

I placed them on Tony Allen whose been reppin Rose/adidas since day one. And its speculated he will rock these.

The purple is darker on my screen. Use a dark Purplish Blue right before purple.

Thanks Xeno and InthePaint for confirming this for me. My nephew is a huge sneakerhead and when I told him these were Penny Vs he basically laughed in my face and told me there was Penny V. That's when I told him it was a new addition to the air penny line. the design on this shoe is sick and just like you Xeno, I also didn't remember seeing these growing up. They wouldve been impossible to miss seeing as penny is my favorite player.
