John Wall just signed a long term deal with Adidas, since reebok will no longer make basketball shoes. He might play Saturday. I have a feeling he's gonna be wearing the Top Ten 2000s. He was seen in a pair in practice.

Yea Tony Parker signed with Peak as well and Reeboks basketball shoes weren't succesful at all.

Their older shoes were nice(iverson Sigs, shaq Sigs, the kamikazes). It's the newer models like the zig tech ones that were just horrible.

We should just have Reebok be Retro. Retro Reebok. Answers, Shaqs, Kamikazes, Pumps, whatever was popular for Reebok. Maybe even release them but modified for the modern game. And no not ADD stuff like Zig Crap, just adjust some things.

Reebok doesnt run deep enough to recycle retros.

Plus I never see anyone beside NBA players wearing them.

Reebok is still gonna retro the old shoes. They just won't be making any new bball sneakers. Sneakerheads will still go crazy for Answers and Kamikazes.

They recently had a press conference(in the summer) where they had Dominique Wilkins help promote the sneaker he wore back in the day.
And Swizz Beatz has been trying to promote/revitalize the Shaqnosis.

Its a cool effort but i still dont see anyone in the streets wearing any Reeboks.
And I ride the train w/ high schoolers in NYC.

I check Nice Kicks and they feature The Questions in all these colorways and I never see cats rockin' them. Except on the NBA court.

I think it's safe to say that most high schoolers are hypebeasts meaning they like to rock whatever's popular or what everyone else is wearing. Like I'm pretty sure you see mad kids in Jordan's and Foams nowadays. But trust me once these kids see they're favorite rapper wear a pair of retro reeboks, they'll go crazy for them. Idk how it is in ny. I'm in Providence and I see ppl rockin everything. Griffeys, Bo Jacksons, pippens, questions, etc. Also I think you don't really see any reebok Retros right now because they haven't released yet. Except for the questions and the answer 4s, which are awesome.

IMO most of the retro reeboks I would cop for sure.

EDIT: I know some of the shoes I listed aren't reeboks I just wanted to list some examples of different shoes I see.
