any one know how to make the 9's into south beaches?

True. Like in the base of it, you can only change the flywire in the little 'triangle' sections, when on some colorways it's a different color to the base.

best thing to do is not even attempt a realistic association until after the allstar break lol... you'll go made trying to get it up to date now, and constantly start over

Exactly I feel you, I mean reallly the sneaker thing is my only concern because I can do my own trades and signings that happen. And I can just download player DNA's for new players added but the sneaker brand switch is a must have lol.

Have we already touched on how the shoe colors change when you put them on players after editing a shoe? I've edited the Rose 773 idk how man times to the all red with black and it's like 2k has a thing against black lol.(no pun intended) Everytime I put black on one of these shoes it makes it white or the team color. Same thing happened with the Rose 3 trying to make the midsole black but when I equipped players with it, it turns white there. The 773 whole shoe just turns white and red. It's weird sometimes we don't get the colors we ask for...

Edit: but then I think this is the first year for this so it's gotta be some errors right.

Be sure that you are choosing the "real" black, because for some shoes the primary color (that's to say the base color) is black too in the shoe editor.

It seems everytime I equip an edit Bron X ID shoe to a player it shows up as the Bron VII?!...has anybody else experience this issue??

It seems everytime I equip an edit Bron X ID shoe to a player it shows up as the Bron VII?!...has anybody else experience this issue??

Sorry for the noob question, but is it possible to create say custom Jordan XI with primary/secondary team colors? I know you can edits colors in "My Shoes" but there's no primary/secondary option. When I try to make the shoe with the shoe creator, all the options aren't there. Am I doing something wrong? Sorry if this was asked earlier.

30+layers later this is what I came up with so far for the Answer IV (still a work in progress). In game they look pretty good, but not good enough to where I want it just yet.

On the 773's it's easy to confuse the primary and secondary colors with black or
red or white I think. It may show up as black, or red in the editor, but it really is the primary or secondary color

To be sure you're choosing real black it's best to start at real White
and work from there. You will know you're at real white because 1 click to right of that is light grey. One click to the left of real white is real black.

It would be nice if we could just open the color grid...

okay that helped a bit more lol. I wish they just made it how they have the shoes from scratch with the grid like you said lol. I just tried your method with starting at all white and it worked. Great job, I appreciate that.
