When you edit shoe colors, start off at white. when you hit back on the color scale, that'll be secondary color(same color as socks). When you hit back one more time, thats primary color(like team color 1 for that team).
These colors adjust depending on what color socks and what primary color goes with each jersey. For example if a team wears black socks on the road, you make the base secondary color to make the shoe all black. I use primary color for the trim on most shoes.

Making shoes this way saves you from using multiple slots for the same shoe.

Color two is NOT the same color as the socks. It's only like that for certain teams like Bulls Heat and Celtics. Teams that have two colors, color two will be the second. Like the Knicks, that one will be Blue for home and it'll switch to orange for away like how it does for the arm sleeves.

A lot of I think also has to do what roster your running also. I know most of the shoes I've created the secondary color will change along with the socks. Even Knicks...I'm using the True 2 The Game Roster by iReP PhiLLy.

yeah, on the most recent roster, i'm not sure if they made changes to some teams
sock colors but as far as I can tell the secondary= sock color formula still applies.

Hey post the formulas for the LeBron Home/Away shoe I want to see what exactly you are using. So from what I understand Home is always White and on away it will be the sock color?

^not anymore, they made changes to the roster. Before, the Heat were the only team that did not follow
the secondary color= sock color formula, but now they do follow the formula
because 2k has made changes to the miami heat sock colors, i'm uploading the pics now.

I also noticed what seems to be a mix-up on the Lebron X shoe
the pink color is in the position of the primary color, but it behaves as the secondary color
the teal color is in the position of the secondary color but it behaves as the primary color
this is the only shoe i've noticed this on so far...

so what is the second color now since you said it is no longer the sock color? Is it TC1 or TC2?

the secondary color is still the sock color.

it's wasn't like that for the Heat before the roster update
but now the Heat follow the same formula as all other teams.

Primary = TC1, Secondary = Sock

so if you set a shoe layer to secondary color, that color will show up as whatever that teams sock color is.
If the team wears white socks for HOME games, the secondary color will be white
If the team wears white socks for AWAY games, the secondary color will be white

Already did.... Go back a couple pages. Or i will edit this post to give the formula.

The Kobe-signature heel is something I can't 100% fix.

This was an old formula I didn't know about the little logo on the other side, so I guess Inside would be SML Nike Logo? Idk which would be but both having MED Nike Logo looks more better
