I think I had one. Just one. The announcers said Chuck Hayes is injured and he might need to come out off the floor but there's no injury animation. He just stands there and got subbed out. Headlines after the game says he's out for a week or two.

I've seen injury report crowded with players but after the All-Star break, the injury report is empty. Durant didn't even play in the All-Star because he is injured. I think a few of those are out of the season. And now they're all healed? LOL

It's a glitch that 2k didn't bother fixing. Looks like I'll be simming pass the all-star break again this year.

Just finished my 2nd season, I just skip some games in order if I'm going to still play for Memphis and they pick up my option. The bad thing is that I can't ask for an extension as it freezes every time .

But off season moves, Carmelo Anthony signed with the Dallas Mavericks and play aside with Dirk, and also here's a big one, Chris Bosh left Miami and decided to play with CP3, Kyrie and the Cavs .

Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread

I have a 6'4" Athletic PG. Got drafted #1. I'm a month into the season now; won ROTM, POTM and 3 consecutive POTW. I'm averaging 29.4ppg, 1.5reb, 7.9apg, 2.7spg and 2.6 to. I'm leading a league in ppg and spg (and to think I only have a 66 steal rating. Knocking the ball loose out of a stand dribble = easy steals). My Hornets team is 13-2 right now. I'm playing on All Star/Default w/ 10min quarters.

I also have another Athletic SF. Though I stopped playing it for a while. Was drafted #12 to the rockets. I'm not even the first month in and injuries occured to the starters:
Jeremy Lin - injured for 6-8 weeks
James Harden - injured for 6-8 weeks as well
Patrick Patterson - injured for 1-2 weeks (now recovered)
Omer Asik - down with flu
Right now Patterson and Asik has recovered but I really need Lin and Harden back in .

Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread

                  29.5PPG, 10.7RPG, 6.6APG, 2.5BPG.

7'0 280lb Center, drafted #10 by the New Orleans Hornets. They mentioned that they needed another good post player to play big minutes with Anthony Davis which sounded good to me (besides the fact that my style is Face Up).

21-9 (12 minute quarters) with the hornets before I started getting stuck with the 6th man glitch, so I asked to be traded to the Clippers, Dallas or the Wizards and instead somehow ended up at the Heat. A day prior Shane Battier was traded with the 14' 2nd round pick for Hinrich which worked out well for us. I was traded for the 14' 1st round pick and James Jones. Our starting roster is now:

                  PG - Chalmers
                  SG - Wade
                  SF - James
                  PF - Bosh
                  C - Me

With Hinrich, Allen, Miller, Lewis and Haslem as the main back ups followed by the rookie Cole and Joel Anthony.

Allen got injured early so their record was 17-12. It's now 66-13. I even put up the game difficulty, but I'll have to do it again since it's still too easy. I want to be traded after this season, and change up my signature skills a bit so my team is more included. Team Chemistry is at 100% so Lebron has a 99 rating, Wade has 95, Allen is at 82, and I think Bosh went up 1 as well.

Easily the most surprising event in My Player this season was the Celtics. They suddenly decided that they had no chance to win a championship, so they traded Kevin Garnett for Louis Williams and Johan Petro from the Hawks. They also got rid of Jason Terry and Keyon Dooling for Nick Young from the 76ers. Apparently they must be in 're-building stage', because their team is now a lot younger. Their record stands at 27-52.

Just had a game against the Lakers with my PG. It showed up in the schedule as a key game, but 2k changed it to a regular game as Steve Nash was out with an injury.

Traded to the Heat? Dude that rocks.....well...I guess it depends. I have found that the best team to go to is one that has a deep bench, good at defense a d are just missing the "star". I was unhappily traded to Denver. Then I realized they have the right mix of guys and push the ball up court. Best is that they are not a selfish team. The problem is that we have won 12 straight on superstar level with only one game decided by less than 10 points. I might sim to key games/playoffs to get to what really matters. If it does not get harder.....might have to...*GULP* go to HoF. I hate doing that as there is so much 'cheese' on that level.

Oh...and being a center sucks because you max stamina is 85. Did a 7'1" PF instead for the max stamina.

Seems to happen every time a key game comes up. I had 4 key games in February on the schedule, but the day before each game it switches to a regular game.

Maybe I'm in the minority here but MyCareer just seems too easy. I play on superstar and constantly win by 20+ points, without even trying. It's funny because it's like my teammates hit every shot. Playing with Golden State and as a team we usually shoot around 50-55% a game (Stephen Curry NEVER misses, lol). On the flip side it seems like the cpu can't hit anything, only shooting around 35-40% a game, no matter what team. 70 games into the season and our point differential is +26, which is incredibly unrealistic. (to put that in perspective the record for the biggest point differential ever was +12 by the 71-72 Lakers). Bumped it up to hall of fame for a few games and still consistently won by 10-15 points (despite some pretty crazy cpu cheese), which is better but still ridiculous. NBA games are usually pretty close, you don't see teams putting up double digit victories and blowouts every night. I usually have to jack up the shot sliders for the cpu anywhere from about 10-15 points higher than my own just to get a challenge (playing on PC so I can use custom sliders for MyCareer).

I believe it may have something to do with team chemistry. Earlier in the season I don't remember being able to win so easily. It's like once you get your chemistry really high your team starts to play like the 92 Dream Team or something.
