You think you have it bad? I'm not even buying 2K13 yet because I go to bootcamp in a couple of days.Comment

The first way to sound racist is to say I'm not racist. Lol, I get what you are saying though. I think they should have an option to sound like guys like Steve Nash, Kobe, or a guy who obviously came from a rough backround like Dion Waiters (of my Cavs) how about some foreign sounding voices I mean there seems to be a large overseas following for this game.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread
Anyone know if the draft glitch is still in the game? Haven't been following that closely.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread
Draft glitch? You mean the one from 2K12 where the lottery and playoff placement didn't matter one bit, because the teams all drafted in alphabetical order by nickname (76ers and Bobcats first, Warriors and Wizards last)?Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread
did you use custom rosters or 2k default rosters? just curious, as I plan to edit the roster for no trade clauses on the top stars and some other edits -- and hope this doesnt cause any freezing etc..Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread
Yes, that one. I would expect 2K to fix it of course but it somehow went unfixed in 2k12 so I figured I"d ask.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread
After only a few hours with the game today, unfortunately I'm incredibly disappointed with My Player this year. The lack of improvements to the mode are staggering. Here are just a few -
1. The exact same create a player features from 2k12 (these actually haven't been updated since 2k11)
2. Once again, the lack of custom sliders in My Player (how many years will this continue?)
3. The inability to turn off Auto-Save this year....why in the world is this a good idea?
4. Unless you are a PG, you can't even SEE the plays that are being called for your team, much less call any yourself. What a disaster.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread
That is disappointing. I only played the rookie showcase last night and like someone else was saying ere are no changes to any part if the creation process. Actually, the one thing I did notice is the "buzz" hairstyle is different. Other than that the tattoos and everything else are the same.
Auto save isn't that big of a deal to me but damn, who else had a hard time figuring out how to create more than one MyPlayer? Ridiculous....Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread
No one has probably finished their first few years and gotten a new contract.
But how will this work, is the cap space in coins or what?
I asked this several times before and it's kinda stupid that they did it like this. Coins are good as a replacement of skill points, but not as a replacement of real dollars.
MyPlayer cap question:
I don't know how to embed videos on here but:
At 4:57 it is shown that your annual salary is 500 coins a year. I thought this aspect would remain realistic and your salary would be paid out in dollars. I'm all cool with the coins but what about the cap/cap space?!
So how is your MyPlayer pressing on the cap? The equivalent of these 500 coins should be 1.3 million dollars.
If I get a max. contract after 3-4 years, will it be in $' or what? Is Lebron James 2 year contract worth 6000 coins annually?
Example:
If I want to take on a lower salary so we can sign Lebron James in free agency (your player has influence on the team/management so I thought we could choose this), I need to know how much he is earning and see if it's doable with our cap. It's too diificult to base this of some new currency as in coins.
So will it be something like: Cap space allowed: 4000 coins?Comment
