I was pretty popular, I averaged about 25 5 5 n 4. I put up a picture when I passed a million fans, and it was before the all-star break,. I believe it was in February 1st in my rookie season. Here it is

I'm in the All-Star voting with over 1 million votes, but I most likely won't start as I am second in terms of SG (behind Kobe), so I will be in the All-Star game.

Cool, thanks guys. Seems like you need over 1 million fans to be considered for the all-star game. I guess the number fans you have equates to the number of votes you get.

Maybe I should have spent some VC on boosting my league popularity with some charities haha

i was drafted 10th by the hornets, scoring PG..started off the bench, became 6th man then eventually became a starter..i lead all rookies with PPG..after a few games, i went back to being the 6th man! Vasquez took my starting spot again!

Same thing happend to me. Drafted 10th became starter after 20 games then stupid Vasquez takes my spot again. I request a trade to Clippers and after time they begin to start me at SG and i liked it, into the playoffs Conference Finals vs OKC we won 4:3 and after that i was benched again for Crawford.
I eventually won the MVP Finals (coming off the bench) and CP3 signed for Cavaliers, I thought finally I was going to be the starting PG with 86 ovr, but guess what? Thats right Crawford now starts as a PG. They took my minutes down to 19 from 34 per game. Wtf?
And every time coach says after game "I have to find a bigger role for you" he's bull****ing. I went to the GM and asked for Crawford to be traded and he agreed but nothing happend. Now I'm 86 ovr, Finals MVP, sitting on the bench and playing 15-19 min per game.

Quick question: Do we need VC to purchase sig skills, or can we purchase them with the regular points we get from an offline My Career?

If you go with offline mode, you have to buy abilities, sig skills, and animations with skill points (SP).

VC is only used when purchasing accessories for offline player. Because you can't edit your offline player in offline My Career mode this year . What you need to do is edit your online myplayer with VC and the changes will affect your offline player. (Hair style change is done this way as well..No cost for this but you have to edit your online player)

Of course if we are talking online my player, everything is done through VC.

Is this a joke? I went 3rd to the Wiz with my All-Around PG (just making saves to get the #1 pick; promptly deleted it and went back to my 3PT Specialist Wizards PG):

33 points (48% shooting)
10 rebounds
9 assists
6 steals
1 turnover

And that still gets me #3? Maybe I should've told the Hornets I was going to be a future HOFer instead...will take one last try with my athletic PG.

What will get me a higher draft position for athletic PG?

I just finished competing in the Slam Dunk competition and the game auto-saved as soon as I quit the game (as the game usually does). So, I decided to play the next game in my schedule following All-Star weekend and I find out that my whole schedule is blank (This includes past games I've played and future games) except for the playoff weeks.

I simulated to my next game out of curiousity and it ended up simulating the rest of the season and bringing me to the playoff bracket (which means the whole league didn't play any games after All-Star weekend). My Thunder team was 42-10 for the season.

Has anyone had their schedule be blank after completing the dunk contest/all star weekend?

Are you playing with a PS3 or XBOX? I'm 2 games away from the all-star festivities with my player competing in the Dunk Contest and 3-point contest and after reading that, I'm kind of hesistant to partake in it now... Haha

Whenever I play as a starter I get like 17 minutes. I play well, earn more minutes, but become a sixth man. Next game I play well, become a starter again but with less minutes. Is this a glitch? Or does the game actually work like this?

Why is it so hard for 2k to allow us to sim any game we want? I don't want to play key games to sim smh, everyday i play this game it makes me wonder and hate this company even more

okay um WHAT THE F**K

So I've been starting at SF for the Cavs since 10 games into the season. Started rest of the season. 3rd in the league in scoring. Rookie of the year. Blah blah blah.

So we get to the 2nd round of the playoffs, and now I'm randomly coming off the bench and barely getting half the minutes I had before? WHAT?!?!!?

Same thing happened in 2K12 after the all star break. The game just seemed to reset itself. I was leading the league in scoring and won the all star game MVP. First game after the break I was back on the bench averaging about 10 minutes a game. I quit playing the mode out of frustration. If this is the case again I am gonna be severely pissed.

Yes it does take up a spot. It is a very good value, especially if you are a starter. I have not purchased more than 5 of the sig skills but I read previously that you can swap them in and out at any time later on. Buy it, use it and maybe swap it later with a more substantial skill.

Of all of the complaints on this board, I think this one is the most glaring. Obviously the ASG playing time glitch is obnoxious and losing your MP all together (although this hasn't happened to me, knock on wood).

On one hand, I can understand their methodology in that they want you to truly understand the grind of a season and the realism of a career. That said, UNTIL you can import/continue a player from the prior year's game, you should have this option. MP Mode is entirely to in-depth to not have the option to move forward in the schedule at your desire. I love the game mode, played countless hours in 2K12 and still never got to the point of signing a FA deal. Does anyone know what I need to increase/purchase for my player so that I can let him spin dunk? I've been trying in practice and all i'm getting are spin layups.

My dunking is at 90, standing dunk at 40 and I bought both the spin dunk animations, but he's still only doing a spin layup in shootaround.

Yep, happened to me this morning. Also I was selected to play in the Rookie game, but I didnt see any other All Star features, so I did a redownload and then it was available, but I wasnt able to play in the Rookie or All star game bc it didnt show up and only said that I was selected. After the dunk contest I was transported to the 1st rd of the playoffs. Why wasnt I able to play these 2 games!?

And what the eff is up with the rebounding?!?! My team (Lakers) get out rebounded almost every game. The Kings were up 20 in the 1st bc I could not grab a rebound to save my life. They kept getting offensive rebound over and over...
