Finally made an account after following this thread since the beginning! Love the game, addictive.

I started my career as soon as I got the game, and ended up with the nuggets at 20. I'm a 6'4 Combo Guard, Lawson back up but start at SG.

I like to make my career's as realistic as possible, I'm in my 3rd season and will most likely extend my contract.

I played key games in my first 2 seasons, with this being a contract year, I'm going to play every game and get my OVR way up.

In my second year I requested for Ibaka and we got him, traded Chandler away for Ibaka and Maynor.

Starting line up is, McGee, Ibaka, Gallinari, Me, Lawson. We are all under 25, next dynasty! All under contract together for few years.

Last season though we lost McGee and Ibaka to broken arms and they missed the last two months of season. Haven't gone past 1st round yet, but that will change this year, first full year together!

I'm using a 7'0" 260lb athletic center. I got drafted to the rockets. I don't have problems with fast breaks. I started off the season from the bench and we were pretty average (5-6). But once I got my attributes up, and built up enough team chemistry I've become the most dominant player on the team. I'm getting triple-doubles almost every game. I play 12 minute quarters though. Right now we are 40-7.

What difficulty are you playing on? If I play center on pro level the game is too easy. We blow everyone out. I play on superstar level but I went down to all-star and the same thing happens. I can dominate the middle all I want but when half of the other teams points are fast breaks I can't stop it.

Anyone else's carreer freezes midgame? I've now around 43 Games played and got traded from rockets to brooklyn. so now in my game AGAINST Houston in the 3rd quarter the game freezes. I have to restart my PS3 and then it works again. For 1 game.

Anyone playing a center or power forward? I WAS playing a center but the other team keeps fast breaking me to death. I tanked the rookie game so I could be drafted by the Bulls. I THOUGHT I was getting a good defensive team. Well, fast break after fast break the darn guards let the other team behind them! I can't defend that! Anyway to stop this? If I go into Coaching settings for Tibs, can I set it so the damn guards get back? Help!

I am playing with an All-Around Center on All-Star/Default. He is on Detroit, and the key to getting back in time is to give up on any "marginal" offensive position ... I still average 15+ rebounds a game, but unless I am perfectly set up, I found getting back on D immediately will prevent the bad transition penalty.

I don't stop every fast break, but I'm not getting penalized for not getting back either.

It might be a placebo but I found that as your team chemistry goes up the ai seems to be better at transitions and getting out on 3-point outlet coverage. On my Point guard, once I reached 85 chemistry, it seemed better to me.

Does anyone know if multiple trades could happen mid season...

I want to play for the Wizards, but got traded to the Nets ...

yes, you definitely can. I was traded to the Clippers when i wanted to go to the Celtics. you have to then play either 5-10 games (I forget) with your new team before you can request another trade.

I would suggest using the kinder more gentle trade request (instead of "I demand a trade!"), and then only select Wizards as your #1 and leave the other two spots empty.

I did this with the Celtics and after playing 5-6 more games they traded me, and I am a PG and they have Rondo (of course they play me 99% at SG)...so I think this should work for you, give it a try...

Still in my rookie season, played 30 or so games, and all of a sudden my Social Media disappears. Wiped clean, no messages.

Is there any remedy to this or do I have to wait for a patch?

Yeah it happened to me a few times but after the next game it all comes back including the tweets from the last game you played that they disappeared on.

I am playing on pro. Maybe I'll turn it up and see how it goes. I did notice that if I leave the opposing center open on the other end after someone makes a basket on my team, they will pass to him from long distance because he's usually open right under the basket. So after every basket, I try to stay close to him.

I have to find a way to stop Melo! After finishing the season in the 1st seed with the 76ers, I'm in the first rd vs NYK. For the season I did pretty well, my Athletic PG at 6'3" avg'ing 17.9ppg, 2rpg, 1spg, 6.2apg. I start and play the majority of my minutes at the 2, apparently the team really loves Jrue Holiday (no prob tho, he's a beast).

But I cannot stop Melo! He's insane. I play on All-Star/Sim/10Min Qtrs. We're in Game 6 at MSG in a series that has been way tougher than I imagined. I'm up 3-2. Someone needs to tell 2K that Melo yes, is a pure scorer and very dangerous. But he is NOT this efficient. He is coming off his most inefficient season ever in '11-'12. He hits pretty much everything, even with MULTIPLE defenders all over him.

Game 1: 36pts on 15-24 from the floor. L
Game 2: 38pts on 17-31 from the floor. W
Game 3: 57pts on 24-38 from the floor, including 11-13 in the 4th. During that stretch he was just unbelievable. Running fadeaway 3's, check. Emphatic dunks over me, Bynum AND Thaddeus Young, check. Of course I got the L. Was so pissed I pretty much guaranteed victory in the series and that we're still better during the postgame press conference.
Game 4: 24pts on 11-26 from the floor. Finally got him to miss somewhat consistently. Got the W
Game 5: 42pts on 16-27 from the floor. Still won due to my 31 and 17 assists. Nick Young came in and was deadly, held me down this game.

As you can see Melo is just torching me. 39+ppg on 60+% in 5 games. I know Melo is certainly more than capable of this, but the way it happens is just crazy. Tip dunks literally OVER 3 people. Fading running 3's. Catching oops in traffic.

The one way I've found success is to leave J.R. Smith for a split second to bait Melo into passing to him. Then close out and contest, because Smith pulls everything, a straight gunner in the game. He will NOT pass it ever. He's had a couple 3-15/1-9 games which helped at key moments.

The NYK are a dangerous team in the hands of the CPU. Amare is deadly. Melo. Shump is nice and can pull off the dribble. Kidd is deadly. Smith can light it up. Chandler is a beast on the glass. Felton is nice. Novak is lights out. With the high FG% in this game they are as dangerous as anyone besides LAL/MIA

The nonsensical rotation/role changes are starting to get annoying now. I'm the sole reason why the Bucks won a championship but after three games of the second season I'm coming off the bench as the sixth man. It's amazing how broken this mode is.

Edit: Just checked my minutes: -9 to 20 mins a game when I'm averaging 39 points and 10 assists smh. Mbah A Moute is nowhere as good as me.

Yea its one of the GM sitdown topics. It usually appears after about 6-7 games if you have a losing team.

OAN playing with the Hornets is difficult with Eric Gordon injured. BUT Jason Smith is my favorite role player on the team by far. He is so automatic from mid range that its borderline cheese. And he knows lots role and never tries to force anything.
