They seem to call plays and set up at specific positions but you really can't tell.

And they just stand there like idiots waiting for you to get into position until the shotclock ticks down and then they chuck up some crappy shot?

I'd love to hear what Ronnie from 2K has to say about this. Obviously he won't say anything, but I'd love to hear what he would say if he said something.

One thing though is that when you're in a game, if you go to the menu you can't find a "Call plays" option anywhere. Just "Playvision on/off" and "Playvision displace lite/full". Turning them on doesn't do anything.

The "Run Plays" option is in the Game Mode Settings in the options menu (not in game). Obviously this is pointless unless your a PG (same exact oversight that was in 2k11 btw).

Yeah exactly. I've tried both on and off with my SG and it doesn't show up.
They did release a patch for that though. They really need to do that this year to ASAP!

I wish I could have hope for that, but maybe the PC version will get it sometime around March.

If I hit the left bumper and then choose a players icon it shows a spot to take my point guard to and it is showing the play. This is in quick match.

Hit the directional pad left and choose what offensive strategy or set you want. Then hit the left bumper. Then choose a player you want to run the set for by picking their icon. The play should show up!

Yes, but the problem is if you're not the PG the CPU won't run any plays and playvision won't show up.

What I've gathered is is that playvision probably works, it's just the Run Plays option in the menu that doesn't work.

I am wrong about the left pad and strategy. I know if you hit the left bumper and then press one of the icons for the players you will get a play vision for these.

just saw that, no playvision .... i can't play like that ...it's like playing basket ball on the street -_-' they fixed gameplay but they didn't saw playvision is not working ?? i don't even know if i have to laugh or cry

i guess i'll have to wait March or later for the update (PC), amazing !

I've figured out that play vision does indeed work. It's actually the run plays option that doesn't work. Doesn't seem like your team doesn't run plays when your something else but pg.

Not unplayable but if you like being somethng else than a PG then a bit of realism will be taken out since you have to play free roam on offense.
