Finally decided to switch teams (within current association) I took over the Lakers. Kobe is 38 years old 21 years pro, I'm pretty sure he's going to retire after this season so ill attempt to get him his sixth ring. The Lakers have a nice squad actually.

Starting 5.

1. Lorenzo Brown (88) four year point guard they got from Denver. Testing free agency after this season
2. Kobe (82)
3. Alex Poythress (85) four year as well drafted by Lakers. Testing free agency
4. Pau Gasol - he's injured right now don't know his rating
5. Dwight Howard (94) testing free agency after this season

Bench
Avery Bradley
Jordan Hill
The rest are nobody's, I may get a couple vets

I was thinking about trading Alex Poythress for Iguadola (86) to add some more defense to the squad but its just a thought. If this team looks stacked to you trust me lots of other teams have a plethora of good players grouped together.

First game and I'm getting blown out by 20 something haha I'm unfamiliar with this team completely.

I take back wanting to get Iguadola, Poythress is balling!! Haha I just hate players who don't have names that can be said in the game and instead the announcer says the number

we got swept by the Spurs in the western conference finals! Actually we lost game 1 by close margin, then lost bad in game 2 and 3. And i thought to give this season up for the retiring Duncan, so i simmed Game 4. Eventually Spurs beat the heat in 6 games to be NBA champs!

On the draft, I have the 9th pick and was able to get Muhammad. On the 2nd round I signed Crabbe and Olynyk. In the offseason I resigned Iggy (9 mil 5 yr deal) and Brewer (4mil 1 yr deal) to keep our lineup intact. George Karl retired and we signed Monty Williams to a 1 year deal.

My lineup for 2013-14:
PG Lawson, Marshall
SG Iggy, Brewer, Fournier, Crabbe (R)
SF Gallo, Muhammad (R)
PF Faried, Randolph
C Mcgee, Scola, Koufus, Olynyk (R)

I might get bored in using the same lineup again so I am thinking to do some moves to keep us to be contenders for the title. Im thinking of trading scola, brewer or Iggy for young core to support Lawson and Faried. Gallo ill try again his luck this season as he didnt play during playoffs due to injury.

Also I have 2014 1st pick suns from trade last season, so I hope they tank and i can get wiggins next year.

off to the 2nd season!

* oh by the way, lots of retiree including duncan, nash and ray allen. Spurs then had cap space then signed Dwight! CP3 went rockets. Now is this a back to back for Spurs? or Miami will earn it back? orrrr Nuggets will take them all? haha

For curiosity sake i simmed four different teams associations yesterday through the 2014 draft. Using vtcrb's 2013 and 2014 draft classes. Wiggins is the #1 overall player in 14 and comes in at a 74OVR. He was drafted in the following spaces:
6,4,11,and 9

My lineup for 2013-14:
PG Lawson, Marshall

C Mcgee, Scola, Koufus, Olynyk (R)

Since new coaching staff took over, i had a hard time at first on the new nuggets under monty. I also got a bit bored with the same old lineup.

So due to this sorry if you find this unrealistic but i managed to pull off 2 tradea hehe

1) bucks receive shabbaz (high potential), scola and crabbe(A outside)
Nuggets receive sanders, henson, 2014 1st pick

*bucks still have jennings and ellis and adding shabbaz will make them a nice trio. Weird too that bucks is ranked 91. For us we managed to have 2 defensive center in sandrs and mcgee

2) pistons receive gallinari (84 rating, A+ outside)
Nuggets receives mclemore and english

Hard to do this trade as i like gallo. But mclemore turns out to be a better defender and has high potential.

Whenever I draft Ben McLemore I always edit his shoting form to be the same as Ray Allen's and the dude is a beast like that. It's like new Ray Allen in the making.

so, it was mentioned during the NBA combine that the cavs would probably be a team to trade out of this draft for a veteran wing,

IF they get a top 3 pick, and mclemore is there, would you see them trading it to the likes of a chicago for deng?

i may want to play this scenario out in my franchise, looking for opinions ^^

actually, if they get gortat bucks gonna move sanders to PF< so trade gortat and a 2nd for illyasova and udoh
