Have any idea of a Fair deal (somewhat realistic to my storyline) to get D12....I could also take Gasol as a consolation and even take on old Nash who is old and prob will retire 1-2 years in. Anyone I would move except Harden
Some Houston fans are talking about a number of players, from Josh Smith, Al Jefferson, Paul Millsap, Andrew Bynum, but we have given up on Howard right now with Harden in HOU.

I dont think, if on realism, the rockets would deal Asik and Parsons. I believe outside of Lin, Asik, Parsons and Harden, everyone is available. So Terrence Jones, Motiejunas, Royce White, Toney Douglas, Marcus Morris, Patterson, Delfino, they however don't have the draft pick means to get a Howard. Their 2013 1st is due to Atlanta(via Brooklyn, Joe Johnson deal).

I've tried in my association mode to deal for Smith and Bynum, wont happen, nothing I offer is good enough. Also wacked out by the "Daniel Gibson is being shopped by Cleveland", or "Blake may be gone from LAL" and Washington is shopping Jan Vessly.

Also, I started mine and LeBron tore his knee up in game 1, done for season.

Do you think Jones + Patterson + Motiejunas + pick for Smith or Jefferson could be a fair deal? Is it too much? Or is it not enough?

Just put up 12 and 20 with Amare to beat the cavs 95-88. Melo put up a solid 27. Next up is Houston. Lin is out with an injury so hopefully I can get the W. They beat me earlier in the year when they were only 1-10. Think my record is 15-8.

          Re: Official NBA2K13 Association Thread

Currently 8-3 with the Jazz, I play a hybrid of one position games using controller settings, cpu vs. cpu, and simmed games. I'm 3-1 with one position games, with the other 5-2 coming off of cpu vs. cpu and simulated games.

          ROSTER
          PG: Earl Watson; Andrew Goudelock
SG: Alec Burks; Randy Foye; Gordon Hayward
          SF: Jared Dudley;
PF: Derrick Favors; Markieff Morris; Pops Mensah-Bonsu; Gani Lawal
          C: Al Jefferson; Samardo Samuels
Injured: Mo Williams out 1-2 weeks
          Enes Kanter out day-to-day
          Reserves: Jeremy Evans

With the squad being plagued with injuries, with Goudelock also being hurt at one time, I've gotten to experiment with lineups. Playing one position a game or having CPU vs. CPU matches, I also have found which teammates are the best when played by the CPU. Pops and Lawal are beastly, and Samuels has already had two double-digit scoring games on the team, so I've raised his minutes.

          POINT GUARDS

Mo Williams: (17.3 ppg; 5.3 apg; 1 spg) While he definitely is a shoot-first
PG, Williams attacks and is definitely an efficient part of this squad.

Earl Watson: (1.5 ppg; 2.1 rpg; 2.9 apg) His numbers may not seem impressive,
but when the CPU plays as Watson, whether I play alongside him or not, things do
happen, and I'll keep him for the year.

Andrew Goudelock: (3.7 ppg; .9 apg; 25% fg) his numbers say it all, he is
just killing the team, and has already fallen out of the rotation. I've tried
him in both the SG and PG positions, but he simply isn't good in 2K

          SHOOTING GUARDS

Alec Burks: (12.7 ppg; 5.8 rpg; 4.1 apg) Beastly, as an A.I. controlled teammate, he gets things done. He rebounds a lot, and he is also a playmaker. With Mo Williams out, I have given Burks the chance to play as starting point guard, and he has done a solid job there.

Randy Foye: (10.6 ppg, 39.5% 3PT fg, 22 mpg) A spark plug off the bench, with Burks taking the starting PG role in Williams absence, Foye has taken the starting SG role. He has led the team in scoring in two games since the switch 6 games ago.

Gordon Hayward: (6.9 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 2.5 apg) His stats are quite lower than I expected, but Hayward is a valuable stopper and all around player when the A.I. plays him. I plan on keeping him.

          SMALL FORWARDS

Jared Dudley: (9.4 ppg, 5.0 rpg) Looking forward to seeing Dudley in action as a cpu player. I needed more 3 point shooting, as well as a true SF instead of Millsap so I gave him up, as well as another player for Dudley and Morris. I haven't seen him enough to rate him yet.

Jeremy Evans: (2.0 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 1.0 bpg) I've used him sparingly, since the team is deep, but the A.I. has Evans as a defensive force. In limited minutes he has averaged a block a game, but considering he has only played 3 games...

          POWER FORWARDS

Derrick Favors: (13.8 ppg; 9.4 rpg; 1.4 bpg) Favors is beastly on the defensive side of the ball, averaging a healthy number of blocks. While Favors isn't the first option the Jazz have on offense, his defense is definitely appreciated.

Markieff Morris: (6.2 ppg; 4.3 rpg) Newly acquired from the Paul Millsap trade to Phoenix, I haven't had enough time to analyze him, but I am optimistic.

Pops Mensah-Bonsu: (4.2 ppg; 2.5 rpg) Before you say anything, I decided to create two teams of NBA hopefuls as well as lower members on the bench of the Jazz to see who would stay or go on the Jazz team this year. In 3 games of that, Mensah-Bonsu, as well as Goudelock and Lawal (more on him next) shined. While Goudelock isn't impressing me, Pops and Lawal are. Pops stats include limited minutes, AND simulated games. In simmed games, he is okay, but in CPU vs. CPU and One Position games, Pops simply dominates. I plan to sign him to another 1 year deal after this one is done.

Gani Lawal: (3.3 ppg; 3.1 rpg; 9 mpg) Lawal is another solid FA pick-up, I want to develop him, as he is efficient as a CPU on the floor while I play a different position.

          CENTERS

Al Jefferson: (18.4 ppg; 7.8 rpg; 50% fg) Yep, still the leader of this Jazz team. Jefferson is deadly efficient on his time on the floor, and right now I am in the predicament whether I should keep him, or let him go away for nothing in FA, or trade him before the deadline.

Enes Kanter: (5.4 ppg; 60% fg; 11 mpg) Before getting injured, Kanter had an efficient time with the Jazz, once he gets back in a few days, he'll get some more minutes.

Samardo Samuels: (6.1 ppg; 56% fg; 11 mpg) I was very surprised with Samuels, who I acquired in a trade to clear up some of my cap space. Samuels is a definite must sign right now. 16 points in a game as an A.I. teammate, and 14 points in a CPU vs. CPU game. Samuels got his chance to shine when Kanter got injured.

Forgive me for the long post, but spoiler-tagging everything just created a mess.

              Re: Official NBA2K13 Association Thread

In my Celtics Association I just passed the All Star break and I'm a few days away from the Trade Deadline. I was red hot heading into the break, winning 7 of my last 8 games. During this streak I was able to jump both NJ and Philly in the Atlantic and now lead both by half a game. I also jumped from from the 6th seed to the 4th seed.

I'm currently 32-20 and trail Chicago by 2 games (for the 3rd seed). I'm considering making a move, but I'm actually pretty happy with my current lineup. The only reason I'm even considering making a move is because of player morale. Barbosa, Joesph, Wilcox and Collins are all upset due to playing time. Barbosa is probably the only one of those with any real trade value, however I'm hesitant to move him. I feel like we're one injury away from him getting prominent minutes. Besides, I would probably just want picks for him and since I'm hoping to compete for a title this year it doesn't make sense to start trading assets for future picks.

I'm going to sleep on it before I advance past the trade deadline, but I think my mind is made up. I'm interested in hearing what other Boston users who kept their core together are doing though.

For the 5th game of my wizards association the wiz travel on the road to take on the 2-4 pacers. A very close game that was in doubt up till the final seconds. Z-BO didn't do well this game but both Danny Granger and John Wall made up for his production. The final score ended up being 94-90 and the Wizards 5th win in a row making them the only unbeaten team in the league the pacers meanwhile fall to 2-5.

                Notable performers Pacers:
NENE: 21/7/2 (with 2 steals and also 2 blks)
                P.George: 15/2/2
                D.West:14/4/0
                G.Green:10/4/2
                D.J.Augustin:8/6/14

                Wizards:
D.Granger: 30/3/2 (Player of the game honors)
                J.Wall:20/3/7
                K.Seraphin:11/7/0
                Z-BO:8/6/1 ( off of 4-11 shooting)

Trying to make the playoffs and win some more home games than last season. Currently our home record is 1-3 and we've won two tough away games against the Bulls and Rockets. Also I gave the Thunders their first loss of the season as they were on a 31 regular game winning streak continuing from last season.

I'm aiming for all-star appearances for both Iguodala and Davis as well as Rookie of the Year for the latter.

The team is very fun to play with.
                          Update

It's been a difficult season thus far but the Hornet's having a turnaround year and the best road record in the NBA (9-0). Currently, the Hornets are 13-9, placed 2nd in the Southwest division with 0.5 games behind the Spurs, we're 6th in the conference. With the addition of Flynn, Davis, Igoudala and Blatche, the team's become more dominant offensively placing 5th in PPG in the league and overall 11th defensively.

                          Player Stats

                          A. Davis - 17PPG, 8RPG

                          Bench
                          R. Anderson - 7PPG, 4.7RPG
                          G. Vasquez - 8.6PPG, 3APG
                          X. Henry - 6.8PPG, 3RPG, 2APG
                          A. Rivers - 4PPG, 4APG
                          T. McGrady - 3.9PPG, 3APG
                          R. Lopez - 3PPG, 7RPG
                          J. Childress - 5PPG, 3RPG
                          H. Warrick (injured and out for the season)

Igoudala's second in scoring in the league - shockingly enough. He's had an amazing season so far and is playing really well. He's got an extremely reliable mid-range shot and scores a lot in the paint from lay-ups and contested dunks.

I picked up Flynn from the FA and didn't expect him to play well but he's playing like Steve Nash right now although he's leading the league in turnovers. Vasquez is having a bad season since he's seeing less playing time and his morale is at an all-time low (he's asking to be traded). Rivers has been a disappointment so far - I wouldn't call him a bust but he's not ready for the NBA just yet.

The Hornets are currently 11th in defense, 21st in offense and 19th overall. I am playing the full 82 game season and will more than likely simulate some games but for the most part I'm enjoying playing with this team and hopefully once I sort out chemistry, allocate minutes efficiently to players not used to being on the bench and win more home games (4-9), I think we can make it deep into the playoffs.

The hardest teams I've come across so far are the 76ers who blew us out by 25 points and the Utah Jazz, who destroyed us in our two meetings 109-79 and 100-84. If we come across the Jazz and Thunder in the playoffs it'll be an early exit for the Hornets because those two teams are vastly superior.

The Lakers and 76ers and leading the West and East respectively. Shockingly, the Celtics are just ahead of the Raptors with a terrible record of 7-16.

I'm looking to rebuild a team, and these are my choices:

                              1.) Orlando Magics
                              - My first choice because after the D. Howard drama/saga, it left a very big hole in that franchise that no one can fill it up right away.
                              - Maybe through draft, trading some pieces and reducing players with large salary CAP.

                              2.) Cleveland Cavaliers
                              - Got some good backcourt combination but aside from that, they got nothing else.
                              - Couple of FA signings and trades maybe.

                              3.) Charlotte Bobcats
-MKG is a good (for me) franchise player to build around and Kemba would make the perfect Robin for Batman.
                              - Maybe continue to build around the draft.

Depends what type of team you wanna build, if your looking for a team built to win i'd suggest chicago, miami, OKC, lakers and so forth, if your looking to rebuild a team i would suggest charlotte, new orleans, orlando, phoenix
