2k12 is better, the lightening in 2k13 is too dark and the faces look more glossy

Nah, 2K13 looks better, that's how they are supposed to look inside an arena. In 2K12 it looks like they forgot to put some lotion or Vaseline on their faces. They look like Ashy Larry.

Griffin is truly AWFUL.

I like the shading on 2k13. In 2k12 all the players were ashy as hell... Think they nailed the lighting on this one. However some faces took a step back, but I'd rather have better gameplay than better graphics. The game is still amazing.

In some ways I would agree. However, 2K12 looked more pale (grey) whereas 2K13 has more texture to the color.

The only improvement I've seen is in Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade, and Kevin Love. The majority of the other faces, in my opinion, have regressed compared to 2K12 ...

You know, the point was supposed to be about the features. Not the lighting because we don't know how any of it was changed in the recording of the video nor how the lighting changes the look in game. With that said, IMO, 2K13 is a marked improvement over 2K12. But there is still a LONG way to go on all fronts. CP3's and Harden's improvement was pretty good. DRose and Tyson Chandler... Ugh!

But all them certainly fly in the face of the people claiming that the faces "were not touched"...

Don't know if this has been said but I def think the eyes look better in 2K13, and that's somethign that animators always have a problem with, and they look less human with crappy eyes.

true. i always pay attention to how much the hands actually look like a hand.
i think the white players need some more texture to their skin.

Damn, Lebron and Manu look waay worse. They had LeBron's headband perfect last yr. What happened??

Lebron keeps changing the position of his headband to hide his receding hair line.

Think he bullied 2k into doing it?

Don't get why athletes get so concerned about their appearances. He aint a friggin super model.
