im thoroughly upset about the autosave. Seriously, how many people actually voluntarily use autosave?

it really takes away from the essence of gaming. one of the best things about the universe of gaming is the ability to redo. in real life, you can't redo anything, and people are often filled with regret. in the gaming world though, you can redo; you are ultimate controller of your fate. knowing you have this safety net, you take risks, screw around, explore "what ifs" and just HAVE FUN knowing you undo it if you want, whenever you want. this is partly why video games are so appealing whether we as individuals realize it or not.

also not a fan of how important the currency system is to the game, or the fact that it is dependent on being online (as well as your user profile and settings). I thought it would have been like past 2k nba and nfl games, where it was a fun side thing for the crib and stuff. now the currency is really emphasized, and it feels like too much of the game revolves around it, like its a MANDATORY feature...

I swear I'll end up with a corrupted file with this autosave. Always happens to freeze. Hell I already froze in my player once a d the games been out a day. I don't think I'll ever get fully hyped for any game ever again. Always some bs...

I'm pretty sure they can. I saw EA sports update/introduce a new option/setting in Madden 13 (which I thought was impossible to do but that's just me).

So apparently, it is possible and I do hope 2K implements this and a lot of other glitches/fixes.

Most of the other stuff you listed isn't that big of a deal(legends, rookies, not a huge deal at all and has to do with licensing)

But ONLY autosave in association? Are you kidding me? I thought game developers learned by now that most people HATE being forced to autosave when they don't want to. I payed for the game, i should be able to save when i please.

So far the gameplay seems very solid, and i'm liking it so far. But THAT, is crap. Why would they do that? Come on, just think would ya?

Actually missing legends and rookies to me IS a big deal.. I don't give 2 ****s about a crew, or my player, or any other crap that should be on NBA street..

Half the reason I buy the game is for the legends and the other half is for a update roster.. Having both of those screwed up and not being able to hex this year to fix it pisses me off

Actually he is accurate when he says we will be missing a ton of rookies due to the fact that there is no D-League. Which is where alot of the second rounders end up going.

It is not about losing for me (and I would imagine most players), there are other reasons I hate autosave. Say I want to edit tendencies or sig styles for players. Autosave after every action! Edit someone' shoes? Saved. Finetuning draft classes? Autosave after every player. That gets very annoying.

Besides that, I like experimenting in my game. what if i want to test the trade logic? Will the game autosave after each transaction?
But most of all, what if I just wanted to sim to the offseason for test reasons or curiosity? Autosave would screw me. Its happened before. I simmed to the offseason a few years back just to see if a player would resign or enter FA (not sure who it was, maybe Lebron?). Anyway I forgot about autosave and it overrided my savefile. I was not a happy camper.

Just make a extra one that you won't play on.

every game i own that allows me that option i cut off. like dude said, i like to fiddle around with stuff too.

Everything outside of gameplay seems rushed to me this year. I am disappointed in the game this year. I look forward to being able to personally customize everything. I want to play around with accessories and sig skills but I can't even takeaway sig skills.

It's like someone came into 2K's office and said I play the game but I don't want to edit anything. Just put my name on the game and that will sell on it's own.

Yeah it's so annoying.. The association autosave kills me.. I can't even back out of a trade I didn't like. In the past I've saved my association then made a trade, and if for some reason I didn't like the trade I would just load the pre-trade save file back up..

.. It's just pointless to have such a basic feature completely removed from the game..

Gameplay improvements and how the game "looks" don't mean much at all when they screw up the other stuff..

Not to mention they STILL will not fix the accessories, jersey colors, and jerseys styles.. This has been a problem for like 5 years now

Yeah, and no duplicated players, or look-a-likes, or even renamed teams, or real created teams, or team USA for anything other than quick game.. Or Barkley on the real game, or pretty much anything that you would find on the rosters made this past year.. Just throw all that out the window, good one 2K

Wait what the hell I haven't tried Association yet but Christ 2k now we'll have to wait 2 months for them to get a damn patch up to fix the Auto save. All because of this stupid VC system I bet.
