Funny fact most "superstars " mostly take jumpshots not force their way onto the paint making defenders slide to the sides so they get easy layups
The games defense is garbage bottom line

Funny thing also is since the 2k roster update it seems that coaching profile and individual matchups on defense have no effect. So adjusting these have lil or no effect now.

I didn't start getting realistic defense until I played on mkharsh's second set of sliders. I'm still having trouble getting my players to get enough sense to box out.

i put Dreb on 99 and i still dont get box outs lol

If you are playing off-ball D with a guard player and have been beaten off the dribble by the ballhandler, flick the right stick up so that your helping big man will attempt to block the shot. This has been pretty successful for me.

Thanks, I think that's the only way unfortunately for now, on ball defense seems to be off with gd dribler/superstar due to poor contact animation. The other issue is 3 sec on offense are rarely called:-(

I refuse to play off ball D. Im always on ball thats why its imparative that the cpu off ball do what I tell them to do, which they do not.

Do you have right stick defense in the control settings on camera relative or absolute?

I'm using 2k camera and have on absolute, but haven't got an idea what it means. Defense on ball felt better on absolute.

it's basically making a shooter a driver and good cutter a shooter if that make sene. Choose your poison by selecting how you want ur opponent to score and who.
