I have no idea why your MyPlayer can't just be saved to your profile and then sync'ed to the Internet next time you log on. Instead I have to be online just so I can play an offline mode, WTF.

But I guess the more I'm online the more I'm likely to purchase VC with my credit card, so this all makes perfect sense to 2K.
don't buy it just play an association game.. then blacktop 2 on 2.. peja stojo and buy shaq or dwight howard, vs mugsy bogues and spud webb.. games take like 5 mins turrn off repeat.

a system that stops me from putting a wristband on my player is complete BS.

why do i have to pay for a headband again?!?!?!

If i start a new profile without ever connecting to the internet will everything be unlocked?

Totally agree with everything you said dude. 2K basically forced players to spend more money on VC given how little VC you actually get for everything. The most VC I've seen people get is 750 per 8 minute Superstar games and that's playing in Association mode. If you want a nice shirt for MyPlayer Blackcourt, a good one is about 3,500. That's like 4 games worth just for a t-shirt. Let's be honest, the most games any casual player ever gets to play is 6 or 7 at the most before getting burnt out and doing something else. I stick to Superstar, 5 minute quarters because anything longer just gets boring to me. If you really want to compete in MyPlayer Blacktop or MyTEAM, you're practically forced to spend money.
MyTeam Lineup: New York Bullet Club

        PG: Reward Amethyst Steve Francis
        SG: Jamal Crawford (Hawks)
        SF: Kevin Durant
        PF: Carmelo Anthony
        C: DeMarcus Cousins

        6th: Stephen Curry

        Coach: Doc Rivers
        Playbook: Phoenix Suns

I'll give it a try on all star

I'm in total agreement. I feel as though MyPlayer should be completely offline compatible, as I have no need of playing against anyone but the computer itself. I've always understood not having the option to play Online Association without an internet connection because, well, the idea of such a mode doesn't make sense without an online connection. But I don't understand making an offline mode unnecessarily online.

Unfortunately, I'm not always online, so the offline mode for which I'm attempting to progress is going to suffer in those instances. And certain aspects of the game not involving playing against anyone online won't even be available in the first place (no VC, no ability to edit MyPlayer).

I changed mycarrer to longer quarters and it doesn't save the VC I earn in the game. It will save the VC I get for milestones but not for the game. Has anyone else had this problem? Do i need to keep it at 5 min quarters?

Its seems kind of hit and miss w/ the VC. I have a had a few association games where I didn't get any.
