MyTEAM isn't worthless. A lot of us have made it up to the high seeds with using basically what you get out of your starter pack.

Until you play games against people that spent money and have super stacked teams. Then it becomes no fun.

did the coach mode thing last night.. got about 3,500 VC during thursday night football. bought a couple of dunk packages. probably do it tonight as well to get some intro animations or maybe some more sig skills. really like what overall im at and want to get all my sig skills and dunk packages and animations set up so i can use the VC i get playing to work on my defense. sinc my player is a beast on the offensive side

which mode do you put coach mode on??

Season or what?

It only works in the playoffs specific mode. It doesn't work in association mode.

I'm just doing play now games.

Not to rain on your parade but MyTeam and MyCareer are basically worthless to play unless you shell out money to 2k. Since I really only play MyCareer on 2k games, it kinda ruins the game for me.

I have Durant on My team and I earned every VC. Once "my player" had the star icon I was dominating so I don't use VC on him anymore. To further counter your argument My Team is the very best way to invest your VC because you don't lose any. I can sell Durant for the same 20,000 that I earned.

The Rookie Showcase method was nerfed even more.

I used to play one game of MyTeam, and then run the rookie showcase once to replenish the VC that I lost, and now that doesn't even work.

So frustrating. Every game that comes out nowadays is pay2play.

Just do a quick match, put it at hall of game 12 minute quarters, game speed 100, NBA rules all off, substitutions manual and manual timeouts, put it on coach mode and voila.. In about an hour You got 600 vc

Best way indeed. In addition you can just go away and do homework and other stuff. Coach Mode is really helpful

I really hate leaving my PS3 on when I'm not playing it, I'm so OCD. So this method of coach mode doesn't work. I end up checking it every 4-10 minutes for no reason...

What about in my career? They give you a 500 VC contract depending where you were drafted I was 13th. Anyway can you just go in and re do that over and over or there is a certain limit of my career saves and then they automatically give you SP points?

Wow...I have a 500 VC contract too...and i was drafted FIRST OVERALL?! 2K is really trying to cheap us out of VC.

Actually this contract gives you just 38 VC every 14 days.

funny thing is u only get 500vc contract for the 1st pick, but i got 588 for the 2nd.
