Surprised people are complaining that it's too hard to earn VC and/or improve your MyPlayer.

Every year we complain that we want more of a challenge progressing and making our MyPlayer better. Now that we have it, we want an immediate fix?

I like the challenge. My only complaint is that people can just buy their VC (or find clever ways to exploit the game for easy VC). What happened to playing a game for the challenge and because you love basketball?

It makes the game less enjoyable knowing I'll be going online against a bunch of MyTeams that didn't earn what they got...

What blacktop mode are you talking about? You actually have to spend VC points to play offline blacktop?

I was playing MyCareer last night and accidentally hit "play next key game" as opposed to "play next game". It simmed like 15 games and I passed a couple milestones, which netted some VC. I shut off my 360 after I was awarded the VC but before the autosave kicked in. I got back on and sure enough, more VC and the games weren't simmed.

I see that as exploitation and would rather work to get my guy better, but you all can do whatever you want.

Can you have 2 MyCareers at the same time? You could have 1 career that is just used for farming VC using this technique and then spend it on your main MyCareer.

Normally I wouldn't be down for these kind of exploits either but it just seems like this whole VC thing is a way for 2K to make a bunch of money. And really 5000 VC for some piece of clothing is just ridiculous.

Playing association games gets you 750 +10 if you win what i've been doing is Association then I'll play quick game put it on coach mode go do something that's another 600

I hate how everything is connected to the same currency system. I can't get my player accessories because that means I'm taking away points that could've been spent on upgrading skills. And I can just play all kinds of other modes and improve My Player? It just doesn't seem right.

The VC system underpays and is intentionally overpriced in an attempt to force players to buy VC. It is not technically necessary to buy VC to play, but to make real progress in any game mode without doing so takes ridiculous amounts of time, 2K is taking advantage of the fact they have NO competition to squeeze every penny they can out of the player community.

At first I actually liked the idea of VC, the ability to progress in a game mode even while playing another one, but in my admittedly limited experience with the game (the game HAS only been out for a few days after all) it seems to be deliberately sluggish and frustratingly expensive without buying extra VC.

--> The short version is I agree with you and think the system will nickel and dime us to death in exchange for the chance to remain competitive online.

Also it seems the blacktop method is the fastest way to get VC, although it's still slow in my opinion

I believe it was like 7 or 8. 5 mins get you like 300 or 400 I think

So lets say you have one of those career milestones where u get like 3000 vc. And u constantly do this. Will 2k be able to do anything about this. Cause your method does work

I had the same problem. I think you have to wait acouple of minutes, flick through acouple of different modes and then reload the Blacktop to always get your 1600 coins.

I went and bought some I use it to my career to get my guy starting at 75 to make it fair cause this yr sped and quickness suck for you my career player

You can rack up 1000 VC easy with a few quick games of blacktop 3on3.

Just create a save and use "save and exit" starategy to make sure you get top stats in the Rookie Showcase, A+ teammate grades, great performance and lots of highlights.. and make sure you save the game late in the 4th so you save right before the game end.
Then you will get some good VCs there and like 400+ or even more for great performance bonus after the interviews and once you get to the mock draft the VCs will get uploaded to the server and you can see the amount..

QUIT THE GAME AND RELOAD THE SAVE FROM THE ROOKIE SHOWCASE WITH PROBABLY SECONDS LEFT. WHOLE THING WOULD TAKE PROBABLY LIKE 5 MINS each time, the only thing suck is you have to go through the dreadful interviews over and over (I mean comeon I say I hate your team and you still gotta ask me a second question, comeon 2k get a brain) .. I just click x for everything through the whole darn thing.

That's how you can get 5000+ VC in an hour without any skill necessary.
