I'm a "casual" V.C. farmer. I'll usually farm once or twice a day sandwiching the game of the day (Coach Mode, Rookie) between two blacktop mode games and call it good. I like using my My Player in the blacktop game because I feel like he's honing his skills after practice.

The thing I LIKE about the V.C. system is it gives me things to work towards. When It's too easy to become a 99 overall and dominate it gets boring.

Right now I'm about 25 games or so in and I'm a 71 overall I believe. My key stats are 90 Speed, 95 Midrange, 95 Ball Handling, 75 3PT, 80 Vertical, 80 Pass. I think those are the major upgrades. I also have the Gatorade Power Pack and Ray Allen's release. I think that's the bulk of my purchases.

It was WAY too easy to dominate on Pro even at the default 67 Overall, so if people are needing that early you can always set the difficulty to Rookie and take over. I upped the difficulty to All-Pro and it's perfect. We win some games and lose them, I can dominate if I play within the game, but usually have to rely on James Harden to close. Averaging 18.7 points, 6.6 assists, and 6.6 rebounds as an all-round 6'9" small forward.

I like that my guy will be slower to progress. I love his slow build. I want to get certain attributes up and nab a few signature skills. Second season my guy will debut some new gear (with bonuses) and some signature animations. I just like having multiple things to work towards and not just the title.

I almost hope 2K doesn't "dumb it down" next year for those who want to be 99's with everything unlocked off the hop.

This is exactly why your post carries no weight. Had the game for one week and now you're the expert on VC plus half of your stats are coming from "pro" setting which is super easy..

I'm not going to waste my time breaking down how illogical you sound but you do realize 600VC from a quick game mode is more than your Myplayer contract. Matter of Fact, your Myplayer contract can't even buy you a arm sleeve.

I love how you generalize people wanting to be a 99 overall too fast. Funny thing is the only people that are 99 rated on day one are people who "buy VC"

Don't accuse anyone of wanting something for nothing. We want a fair VC earning. You shouldn't be able to earn move VC from using the IPhone vs playing the game.

If you don't see the flaws in the VC system, well I give you a 10/10 for being able to completely ignore logic.

A few things. His post said he played on pro setting but he upped the difficulty. I'm still trying to figure out how that is relevant to begin with. Second, I have had the game for a week and have drawn my own conclusions on VC. Does that mean my opinion carries no weight? No, that is an "illogical" and flawed determination. Last, the VC system is based on logic, clearly. 2k wants you to purchase VC, this is accomplished by overpricing cosmetic things like an armband.

I don't really like the VC system but I don't really care for the cosmetic things so I can look past the issues others seem to have with it. I only wish there would be more VC rewards in My Career games.

I have been doing quick match team up online to get my VC when I want to boost an attribute or something. It is not the quickest process but it is a blast.

I don't know if you even read my post past the line you highlighted. I admitted in the very next line that you don't get enough VC from My Career games and things are overpriced. I also admitted to having to "farm" VC. None of this is ideal but I was making three points. One, the game is far from broken. Two, I'd rather have it too hard than too easy. Three, for people who complain that their overall is too low to be as dominant as they'd like, they can lower the difficulty. I think I was a 99 last year by the end of season 1. It gets kind of boring when you've plateued and there's nothing to work for.

5,000 VC is ridiculous for a suped-up arm sleeve, but you don't need a sleeve right out of the gate. Put that 5,000 into seriously upgrading your skills and have the sleeve or that cool sig skill be something you develop down the road instead of after 10 games.

If I get 750 for one coach mode game of the day while reading articles and getting work done, 320 for a black top game before and after (using "my player" and considering it him practicing between games), that's over 1,000 VC, plus the 150 (low-balling here) from playing a good My Career game and whatever drills, milestones, etc. you get on top of that. It's not ideal, and I'm more critical of the corporate greed than anything else (with the new patch it's obvious they WANT you to buy VC). It's also not the end of the world. As far as the game goes, I'm sitting at an 80 overall, my team is a bit over .500, I have 3 sig skills (level 1 deadeye, level 1 ankle breaker, and the powerpack), as well as the illustrious 5K Arm Sleeve (In Rockets Red of course). I'm now good enough to routinely drop triple doubles (just had a 19 rebound game as a Small Forward) on All-Star, Sim. Might be making the leap to Superstar soon.

Team Loyalty has to be the easiest way to earn VC, that's if you know your teammates very well.
            NFL: Seattle Seahawks
            NBA: Seattle Sonics
            MLB: Seattle Mariners
            MLS: Seattle Sounders
            NCAA: Washington St Cougars

Yeah since the Team Loyalty isnt no longer a one time use, it is the easiest thing to do. Since I dont play Online, Association, or quick games, the mynba2k thing is the only other way of getting VC.

Is the mynba2k thing every 24 hours after you hit the limit?
I also cant connect my account to facebook? I just keep getting a error

Theres a supposed workaround. When you start the game switch to the other team then switch back. This was found on the 2ksports forums.
It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.

Smh look what you've done 2k.

I was playing online ranked and I was up by 36 in the 3rd quarter and this guy just flat out stopped playing the game. I told him to quit and he told me if he quits he won't get his points.

                    Thanks 2k.

It always asks me bogus questions. Like, "Which of these is not a starter?" and there are 2 or 3 bench players to choose from.

It's set to where your autograph can't be so simple. I just do a cursive m (3 squigles) looks like this /\/\/\ but rounded.

Another thing I was able to do to get 5000 quick VC, was sell some of my MyTEAM for more than I bought them for. A few weeks ago I gave up on MyTeam due to the Pay to Play people. So I sold all of my players and only bought people worth like 250 VC. Well today I gave it another look and I found that some of my players were now worth over 2000 VC! So I went and bought a quick scrub for 250, and then sold the player that was worth over 2000 VC. Then I repeated the process until I only had players worth 250 VC.

Basically, you can play MyTEAM as a stock market. Buying cheap players and seeing if their value goes up after games. If it goes up, sell them and buy more scrubs that might go up. I played it smart and but nothing but 3Pt shooting scrubs. So now I just play exhibition All-Star games and earn 550 for each game!

If you do it today, I believe you can get:

                            CJ Watson
                            Keith Bogans
                            Harrison Barnes
                            Jonas Jerebko
                            Andre Drummond
                            Tyshawn Taylor
                            Xavier Henry
                            Mike Miller
                            Rashard Lewis
                            Matt Bonner
                            Patrick Mills
                            Anthony Tolliver

for 250 VC each most of which have 80+ 3 pt shots. I use this team to beat the All-Star challenge like cake. 20 min and 550 VC? Not bad

So basically here's the two things I'm seeing for those of us uninterested in MyTEAM:

                            Stock Market-esque:

                            1. You can buy players for cheap, and after a few games IRL go by, you can see if their value went up and sell them.

                            2. After selling, you could possibly repeat the process with other players.

Using All-Star Exhibition to get 550 VC

                            1. If you barely start MyTeam mode, gather 250 VC and buy one of the players listed above.

                            2. Sell a player on your team to get VC for them (Should be 250 or more).

                            3. Buy another player listed above.

                            4. Repeat process until you have the ultimate 3 pt shooting team.

                            5. Play an All-Star Challenge game and win.

                            6. Enjoy your 550 VC every time you play All-Star Challenge.

I know these methods are kind of cheap, but honestly, the VC system is broken and I want my VC, so I do what I have to to get mine.

Good write-up. I did the same thing once. My initial MyTEAM went untouched until a few days ago. I had some guys worth over 2K VC so after fiddling with the menu, I realized I could sell them. Bought some 250VC scrubs and sold the 2K VC dudes. Made about 4K VC in just 20 minutes that day. None of my new 250VC dudes have gone up much since then, but it was smooth dealing that day.

About the Android app, I still have v1.01 so I can still draw circles or checkmarks for my signatures. In v1.02 and above, 2K made it harder to cheese that minigame. Anyone who is on v1.01 of the Android app, don't update! I get 1K VC everyday for about 10 minutes of making circles. Can't beat that.

for 250 VC each most of which have 80+ 3 pt shots. I use this team to beat the All-Star challenge like cake. 20 min and 550 VC? Not bad

So basically here's the two things I'm seeing for those of us uninterested in MyTEAM:

                                Stock Market-esque:

                                1. You can buy players for cheap, and after a few games IRL go by, you can see if their value went up and sell them.

                                2. After selling, you could possibly repeat the process with other players.

Using All-Star Exhibition to get 550 VC

                                1. If you barely start MyTeam mode, gather 250 VC and buy one of the players listed above.

                                2. Sell a player on your team to get VC for them (Should be 250 or more).

                                3. Buy another player listed above.

                                4. Repeat process until you have the ultimate 3 pt shooting team.

                                5. Play an All-Star Challenge game and win.

                                6. Enjoy your 550 VC every time you play All-Star Challenge.

I know these methods are kind of cheap, but honestly, the VC system is broken and I want my VC, so I do what I have to to get mine.
