Same here, 12. Haven't changed sliders so far as I've been getting decent scores. In fact, I don't think I'll touching sliders this years except maybe decreasing shooting a bit. Pace is fine for 12 minutes at default game speed as long as you run plays 90% of the time. I rarely rush the ball up court unless I have a clear fast break chance.

Re: How Long Are Your Quarters?
I play 8 minute quarters. The stats are perfect besides minutes, which doesn't really matter to me since I won't play over half of the games in a season. I just half a problem making that long of a commitment to a game. I blame senior year in college for that.Comment

Re: How Long Are Your Quarters?
not at all. here u go
ALL-STAR 12 Min
simulation/custom
(The numbers are for both CPU and user unless noted)
inside shot 45
close shot 45
mid range 47
3pt 49 (cpu 48)
layup 50
dunk in traffic frequency 35
dunk in traffic success 50
pass accuracy 50
alley oop 50
contact shot success 45
Defense
Help Defense 55
ATTRIBUTES
Player Speed 47
offensive rebounding 40
defensive rebounding 60
fatigue 56
this is my base right now. ill probably will be tweaking the rebounding sliders soon.
on default everything is on 50. on Simulation the sliders are tweaked to resemble a more real life game. the contact sliders are pushed up 100, the foul sliders are bumped up as well to get fouls. and like u mentioned, the offensive sliders are brought down a little as well.
basically default is a mixture of arcade and sim.
Thank you .... I'll give these a shotComment

Re: How Long Are Your Quarters?
I've always played 12 minutes quarters, pro/sim. I really take my time and run plays though, so stats are pretty spot on."Don't be afraid to go to number 23, he's alright."Comment

Re: How Long Are Your Quarters?
12 min quarters always. Only way to do it. Im on allstar for now with sim settings. But i lowered midrange 3pt and close to 45 for myself and for cpu. Getting mixed scores depending on opponent and how well my teams playing. Lowest i scored was 86 in a win. Most i scored was 105. Played 10 association games so far and have scored over 100 3 times, over 90 5 times, over 80 twice. Im using the bulls. My opp fg percentage on season is 37% mine is 45%Comment

Re: How Long Are Your Quarters?
I wish I could play on 5 minute quarters and be happy...I could get so many games in!
I am playing on 8 right now with Pro/Sim and scores are around 70-90 avg. Kind of low, but I have found that it makes it a challenge for player scoring totals. If I played on 12 I could drop 45 with Kyrie Irving on a nightly basis, and still have 2-3 other players scoring in the high 20's. I like to have a challenge to put up points, I'm sure tweaking sliders would solve that but I haven't looked into it yet.
I am not too hellbent on sim stats, I just like the game to play well and FEEL realistic. I don't buy into the "sim is a lifestyle." thing either. For me, this isn;t real life, it is a video game with only so many animations and ways for things to happen. Granted there are a ton, but eventually you will see the same thing again and again and it gets predictable and stale. In real life anything can happen, not so much with video games. Only my opinion.Comment
