^THIS... but 2k is afraid. and thats why us gamers are stuck. LIVE looks like crap and they cant seem to implement it properly. 2k looks a lot better visually. but the actual in game collision system is hit or miss. which ruins the game at certain points.
I see the same exploits abused in older 2ks, still working for 2k13

no friend, thats old cheese. they use to do this a ton in crew mode. stand there with their hands up sometimes. even if you've already taken off for a layup or dunk. they will slide under you(which is a blocking foul in real life, since you're late to the spot). and hold their hands up or just stand there. they know the animation will kick in that makes you adjust your shot even though you didnt do it yourself. missed basket 85% of the time.Comment

.the hop step is back. so.. the hopstep abuse is back.
the euro step abuse is also in this years game as well.
the abuse of the hopstep is due to the collision system not being able to make the hopstepper fall or stumble when he hop steps even when a defender is right there. thats not possible in real life. you would crash into the person. in 2k13, you move the defender when you do it. it pushes him backwards(makes him slide backwards to be exact)
the euro abuse is no that guys do it. if you start to really lock up people defensively. they will go to EURo step abuse. this means even when you're there they will euro THRU you. which will result in fouls on you more times then deserved.
again collions issue. if i'm right there. right where the guy will end his last euro step(basically i'm not going for the side step move). then the euro stepper should run right into me. and either we both fall, stumble, he looses the ball from time to time. gets hurt(ankle, knee bruise) from time to time. etc.
non of that occurs.
then the "do you know the take off Spots on the floor." this will reward you with super quick, layups, dunks, and fouls that you dont deserve. you can just make a move and hit the shot button from these SPOTS on the court and the offensive player will do the rest for you. the animation will kick in for a sweeping layup or a dunk. if a defender is there. half the time its a foul on you the defender.Last edited by blues rocker; 10-07-2012, 06:45 PM.Comment

The Heat spam stealers and block jumpers get me every time. I pump fake, they jump then when i move to go around them the ball mysteriously falls out of my hands for a steal. Or can any one catch in this game an easy pass to the guy right next to you will bobble it till' it ends up stolen.Last edited by capitolrf; 10-07-2012, 05:41 PM.Comment

Good on ball defense negates most of these things. If u let the CPU defend the ball handler then u live with the results. I'm always on ball so u cant beat me w same move over and over. Try thatComment

NO IT DOESNT. and i would wish people that havent experience it would stop speaking on topics they dont know about. OR maybe you're the one abusing the exploit so you come in here trying to Act as if "all you need to do is play solid defense" so we wont think its cheese. its cheese. its that simple. i'm probably the best on ball defense i know (online and off). i dont get shook because i dont go for fakes. i already know where 90% of yall are going. (baseline). the rest or spread em out at the top, shake shake, shake shake, spin. to try and shake your guy. if they have a horrid connection online. it works. if not. i aint moving. then they go to the hopstep cheese or the eurostep cheese because the cant get by me with all the usual dribble moves . vs them instead running plays. thats how it is in real life. if you cant score on KOBE or LBJ in real life, they start running plays to get you open or go to another teammate thats guarded by a softer defender. you dont just keep going with the same guy that isnt successful without running plays. nothing about that is realistic at all. and thats the biggest problem i have always had with this game.Comment
