This is in regards to Ronnie2k and other 2k developers

ok, first off we thank you Ronnie 2k and all the other 2k insiders who reviewed and showed us all the features of the game before release. I know you have a job to only promote and advertise the game, but you can't tell me you didnt experience all these issue we are experiencing in the gsmeplay. Nothing was ever mentioned and all i can remember is everyone constantly praising how smooth the game plays and how realistic everything is this year.

You guys played countless sample games so you defintely experienced the issues most people are upset about. This is in reference to game play only. You can't tell me anyone of you didnt experience the ridiculous off rebounding by comp AI, the ease of shots and 3's being made even when contested, the ease of scoring in the paint with most players, and ridiculous long passes connected 95% of the time.

Us loyal fans, who buy the game every year for the pass 13 years, should deserve a bit of courtesy just to know everything about gameplay. And since many gamers in this era are online gamers, we are screwed the most because we have no options for settings, we have no clue what anything is really set on. I know Ronnie2k and crew work hard on getting us fans what we want, but also let us know what to expect when the game is released so we are not all upset and come on here complainning about issues every year. We only complain because we expect the product that you guys have been promoting and advertising through the months, a almost perfect bball game. A game where small gameplay issues like these should be addressed before game is released. I don't think many would complain, if they didnt hear much about the game, and it is what it is when its released. But year after year, we are told this is the most realistic bball experience possible on a video game, so us fans just expect exactly that.

No offense to you guys at all, without the marketing and dev crew, 2k would never be this successful, and dont get me wrong. 2k13 is by far the best and most realistic bball up to date. But please fix the issues that are consitently mentioned about game play, and i speak for the many online gamers who strictly play online and have our hands tied with no options or settings to toggle with. I just feel game play should be the most critical thing for a good bball sim. Gameplay is the foundation that makes everything else great about the game. Thanks and hopefully this thread doesnt get deleted.

not the right place but i agree with almost everything you said, nba2k online release is basically a beta every year and we have to wait for patches to clean up simple things like people shoooting and making 100 3s, defenders doing to be honest i have no idea what, 80 ft passes every play, bounce passes literally going thru defenders, and simple bugs. you can't tell you didn't notice this bugs, i played the game 5 mins and noticed like 7 bugs already. not to mention the 2k12 isomotion (LT + left stick) we were promised is not in the game. but overall i still like the game and i know the patches will fix these online headaches, but then why i am playing $65 for a 2 month beta until the patches come out?

I can guarantee you they saw all the bugs/glitches. They have a deadline to meet, whether the game is perfect or not it's getting released on that deadline. This is how any kind of development with a deadline goes. Get the major features working and then go back and tweak/fix minor things. They might not seem minor to you, but in the grander scheme of things they are.

Id like to thank and commend the guys at 2K/VC for continually delivering the most outstanding sports software packages EVER done. Each year the hardest thing for me to do is put the previous year behind me to re-learn the game. becuase the previous year was sooo good (my delima every year since 2k7).

This game is simply phenominal, how you guys do it is beyond me. Im old school so i know gams will have problem spots. but WoW is all i can say. once i learned the new controls gameplay was rediculous (in a good way)and once I got over the change in theme with the overlays, even the presentation is stellar, there is nothing even remotley close to what you guys are doing. its like having momentous celtics vids encorperated into the presentation. so many cool touches likeThe videos playing for the individual players while you view stats. i could go on and on. Simply put, AMAZING JOB!!! thank you.

I am also curious to why they didnt let the team up people play a couple of quick matches in the final build. They would of noticed these problems and could of been fixed before it launched.

Re: This is in regards to Ronnie2k and other 2k developers

As people who support the game every year, we must have to "help" the developers understand that missing shots does not make the game boring. I know lil kids want to score at will, but I doubt they would get mad if they did not shoot 60% from 3 on average. I mean, WTF is this, that is not basketball at all. IRL dudes dont even make 70% of OPEN jumpers, how the F is it normal to hit 3's at a 70% rate rather contested or not. It gets worse when you actually do force a miss and your players dont even try to rebound the ball. I have yet to play a game online where there was less than 20 offensive boards (all together), and im great at this game. In 12 minute games in real life you will hardly ever see 20 offensive boards so WTF was 2k thinking when they let this slide.

Its just mind boggling how devs lie to the sim players to sell the game. Its Ok for the game to not be 100% sim, but its rediculous to barley ever miss shots with superstars no matter the defense.

Another thing that has irked me since 2k11 is the fact that devs have no idea that mid range shots are the lowest percentage shots IRL. I mean, its actually hard as hell to get a correct release for a midrange jumper, especially if its contested, or a momentum shot, why the F is this the highest percentage shot in the game. I mean, no matter who has the ball, if you drive and go into a momentum jumper around 15 feet it will go in about 90% of the time, making a guess, IRL I would say that league average is about 32%, how the hell is this the easiest shot to make. It could be *** **** Sefalosa, if he shoots a momentum jumper its gonna go in at a Michael Jordan rate. This needs to be fixed more than anything cause its been like that for 3 years, so the devs must think its "realistic".

Im not even trying to dog the devs but this is ridiculous ya dig.

Agreed this game is amazing and 2k/VC continues to deliver the best bball sim ever. I know minor issues are things that will always be present in a new game. Also thanks to Ronnie 2k and 2k insiders for great feedback on the game prior to release. I would not consider myself actually complaining about the game, cause with glitches/bugs or not I still play and enjoy it. I just realized that most of us, especially online are experiencing the same issues, issues that are minor, you think and hope would be addressed before release. Anyway, game is amazing, great job 2k and team.... but when you fix the issues and glitches, the game will be near perfect. Thats how good 2k13 is. What other game can you even come close to the word perfect for.
