Re: Energy Drains Way Too Fast
One of the issues is because the AI for the players to get back on defense.
The CPU uses turbo a lot when even if who he is guarding is behind them.
I think it's much better this year than last but I do understand and see too many players sprinting for no reason to get back.True bout my business, Mane!Comment

Re: Energy Drains Way Too Fast
Hilarious the amount of people accusing him of using turbo. I'm going to assume he's taking about Online Association since that's the only mode that has a major fatigue issue.
Fatigue is currently bugged in Online Association if you switch to one of the preset slider packages. If you use or make any edits from one of the preset "Default", "Simulation", or "Casual", you'll hit the issue.
Don't believe me? Either
1) Play an offline association. Play the 2nd game because that's where the issue kicks in on OA (due to Progressive Fatigue I believe.) Use the same slider set and realize you don't run into that issue.
2) Stay in your OA and go into sliders. Put the preset to "Simulation", then go change the slider for Stamina to 100/Fatigue Rate to 0, and start a game. Has absolutely no effect, players still get gassed in two minutes. Both teams will be completely spent within 3 minutes.
To fix it, you need to go to Game Sliders, select "Custom" and input ALL your sliders manually. Then your players will fatigue at the rate that they're supposed to be.Last edited by zmcman1; 10-09-2012, 01:01 PM.Comment

Re: Energy Drains Way Too Fast
i play 5 min qtrs in association on HOF and DONT abuse the sprint and my players are tired after about a min and a half...its ridiculous...i mean i mainly use sprint for defensive purposes at times but D Howard shouldnt be getting tired after a minute...i guess they are accounting for my short qtrs but its ridiculous ...fatigue was fine last yearSLIDERS SUCKComment

Re: Energy Drains Way Too Fast
It is honestly ridiculous. I just tested it in an Offline association with progressive fatigue on.
It doesn't matter how high the player's stamina is, after a couple minutes he will be gassed.
Let's not forget that high stamina players like Lebron have very high motors and sprint fairly often in real life on the court.......Comment

Re: Energy Drains Way Too Fast
Happens in Season too. Where is the FATIGUE option to adjust it so it's not so overwhelming? 1st game, I have Roy Hibbert. After 2 minutes, he had 3 bars left. Was nearly completely gassed out. Come on!! I play 8 min quarters. After 2 min, mostly the big guys are completely wiped out. This needs fixed.Comment

Re: Energy Drains Way Too Fast
There "Big Men" they're suppose to fatigue faster, how many people 260 pounds and over don't get winded running up & down the court, boxing out and banging with other big men. That's real life. I never seen a NBA big man play a whole quarter yet without looking sluggish. How bout slowing the tempo in walking the ball up the court once in a while.Comment

2k please don't listen to this guy
I know exactly what the OP is talking about. Fatigue drains way to fast in Online Association when playing against the CPU. I was actually going to make a thread about it. I make sure I dont use the turbo button too much and everyone on the team still has the Gatorade sign 1-2 mins in on 8 min qtrs. This needs to be patched ASAP.

Re: Energy Drains Way Too Fast
Just played a Heat user and he turbo'ed Lebron to death and didn't get the gatorade until mid way in the third quarter. I believe lebron has something like 98 stamina or something.
I agree with everyone else on all other aspects of the game being messed up such as the steal spamming, long full court passes, too high of fg% in the paint and too many 3's falling but the fatigue is done perfectly in my eyes. No need to touch it for online ranked games. But if it's broken like people say for OA then it definitely needs a patch.Comment

Then explain why Kyrie Irving can't play 1 minute without the Gatorade sign showing up.
1. Turbo drains energy
2. The dribble stick drains energy
3. Picked by a Bruiser Sig. Skill drains energy
If you coming down doing a 101 crossover moves, you can see your blue energy bar goes down. If you use turbo or bump into a Bruiser Sig. you lose more. That's how the game is built this year. So chill on your turbo , step up when a pick is set and do a crossover and go, don't play around with the stick. The left stick still performs crossovers.Comment
