Re: The Official Rate My Trade NBA 2k13 Thread.

I have 2 monumental trades and the last of two for a while. First is between the jazz and Orlando now even though the jazz aren't sure about Jefferson's extension they want to ship him for 2 reasons to develop kanter and to get something good and the magic will take anything they get and want to get rid of hedo's god awful contract.

    Jazz get:
    Hedo Turkoglu
    13 1st round
    14 2nd round

    Magic get:
    Al Jefferson (with extension)

Next trade: this trade was to fix whatever cap issue and too stop the James harden issue and to build both teams

    Thunder get:
    Avery bradely,
    13 1st round
    Courtney lee

    Celtics get:
    James harden (with extension)
    Reggie Jackson

Whats your thought guys does this make the celtics a top contender and gets okc better on defense with some outside shooting surpluses

Ibaka doesn't "shut down the paint". He falls for every single pump fake, and is always rotating to the wrong spots. Barnes has more potential than Ibaka will, and that's what Bogut is there for, right? To be your defensive anchor! Don't do it...Maynor is basically going be your 12th man or something, playing behind Jack, Curry and Klay Thompson.

1st trade seems alright. It would make more sense if jazz were struggling below .500 and were out of the playoff race. That being said, that 1st round pick would be lottery, unless al jefferson magically turns things around. East has gotten much stronger this year. On the other side, it is easy to fall in love with Jefferson despite his flaws. Got a nice, ageless low post game which would make him last quite a while. There are not many 19/10 guys in the league.

2nd trade is not terrible either but I would not do it. To me Harden has greater value. OKC needs more depth, which they will get with trading 2 players 1 one. In return they will get smaller and end up with 3 1/2 string SG's. OKC could use help at frontcourt. If you really wanna pull this off, make things extra spicy and use Sullinger as bait and add Sefolosha to the trade. Celtics will get a defensive stopper where they gave up 1 (lee ain't too shabby either). If salaries are not matching add some other scrub from Celtics to the mix.

Nice feedback man thanks and i personally like al Jefferson's game but the post IMO is a lot harder and less diverse than last years

I am the NOH, I did a 3 team trade in association.

            NO sends Gordon to RAP
            Mason to CAVs
            1st round to Cavs

            RAP send calderon to Cavs
            Derozan to NOH

            Cavs send Varejao to NOH
            Casspi to RAP
            Thoughts?

Re: The Official Rate My Trade NBA 2k13 Thread.

I'm Atlanta and i want to sign Howard next offseason, so J-Smoove also want so resign. So i want to get Horford away, and get a good PG to complement them.

              Is this a good trade?

              ATL:
              Horford
              Jeff Teague
              1st Rounder

              Buck:
              Jennings
              Dalembert

Think it is a fair trade myself. Dalem is coming of the books for me. Teague can fill up the PG position, with Ellis besides him and Horford in the PF spot

                Celtics trade:

                Brandon Bass
                Avery Bradley
                2 1st rnd picks

                Pistons trade

                Stuckey
                Charlie V
                14 first rnd pick

Thoughts? Havent pulled the trigger yet.
                Kevin Garnett is innocent.

The Bucks would not go through with this trade. They would lose Jennings who is an RFA. They already are at risk of losing Ellis to free agency, trading away Jennings would cause a complete rebuild. The Bucks are really deep at PF too. Horford is not as valuable to them as he would be to other teams. I do not think they would send Jennings away for a step down in Teague and an undersized center on a big contract.

Just my input though. This trade is a lot more realistic then a lot of the trades that I've seen and it makes a lot more sense then some of the trades that actually do happen in real life lol

Re: The Official Rate My Trade NBA 2k13 Thread.

Fellas, I have 30 team control on in my franchise that way I can make realistic trades for teams myself, teams who I believe would be looking to improve and dump salary cap and what not...

I will be running with the Blazers but I'm creating myself as an 83ovr. SF (gonna try and treat it like myplayer and just use player lock) so here are some of the moves I've made so far, and looking for feedback. (Remember I tried to be realistic)

                    • With myself being a SF, I assigned SF Nick Batum to the Hawks. They needed an SF, and I hate Josh Smith at a 3, so that's the only move I've made so far for Atlanta.

                    • With Paul George on the rise IRL, and IMO Danny Granger seemingly maxing out his potential in Indiana, I've decided to move Granger, giving the Pacers some kind of cap relief. The deal I have in place is:

                    Pacers Trade
                    Danny Granger 2yr/27mil
                    Lance Stephenson 1yr/915k

                    Cavaliers Trade
                    Luke Walton 1yr/6mil
                    Daniel Gibson 1yr/4.7mil
                    CJ Miles 2yr/8mil

My thinking with this deal is that, though the Cavs are young and have Kyrie Irving, a solid 3, especially someone of Grangers capabilities, could catapult them into a possible 5-6 seed in the East, and ill continue to try and build them up. The Pacers receive 2 expiring contracts which will free up 10 million for them, giving them cap room for either upcoming resignings, or free agency acquisitions.

                    • Looking for feedback on this deal ^^^ I haven't made it yet, but I will pull the gun maybe 10 games into the season. As for another deal I have in place to help improve some teams... This trade's marquee piece is Jazz PF Paul Millsap. With Paul and C Al Jefferson both in their contract year, the Jazz are going to have to make a decision on whether to resign both, or let one walk. I think the obvious choice is resigning Al Jefferson, so I'm parting ways with Paul Millsap, in a 3 team deal. Here's the trade:

                    Jazz Trade
                    Paul Millsap 1yr/7mil (Celtics)
                    2nd Round Draft Pick (Spurs)

                    Celtics Trade
                    Jeff Green 3yr/26mil (Jazz)
                    Brandon Bass 3yr/20 mil (Spurs)
                    1st Round Pick (Jazz)

                    Spurs Trade
                    Boris Diaw 1yr/4mil (Celtics)

My thinking with this deal is that the Jazz have PF Derrick Favors (75 ovr.) so the Jazz will try and develop him, so they'll resign C Al Jefferson rather than PF Paul Millsap. With the Jazz in desperate need of a 3, the Celtics send Jeff Green (77 ovr.) to the Jazz as well as their 1st Round pick. The Spurs receive Brandon Bass, a younger and possibly more productive big man than Boris Diaw, most certainly a more traditional 4. The Spurs also receive the Jazz's 2nd round pick... And we know the Spurs might find a gem there haha.

I'm probably going to make that deal 5 games into the season, but would still appreciate feedback.

                    =====

I'm currently weighing my options on a deal involving players (all seperate deals) Tyreke Evans, Monta Ellis (or Brandon Jennings), David Lee and Danilo Gallinari. My team of focus right now to try and improve is Houston and New Orleans. New Orleans I would like to have a SG/SF there without including Gordon, Rivers, Anderson or Unibrow (Tyreke Evans??) and Houston I would like to give them a post presence (David Lee??). These deals though, would not happen unless both teams are hanging around in the playoff race and the Trade Deadline is coming up.

Thanks for reading all of this if you did haha. Now time to help a brotha out.

Bobcats get Paul Millsap 2nd rd pick

Jazz get tyrus thomas, Ramon Sessions

Jazz get depth back and a young PG who is a playmaker

Cavs get Josh Smith, Anthony Morrow

Hawks get Alonzo Gee, Luke Walton, Andy V and 2015 first rounder

Cavs get a beast 3 in morrow, and a Smith who can play 3 and shoot the ball well and play D also shoot the ball well, Hawks get cap space Gee is decent and Andy V to play at C to Move horford to PF so really they have a solid lineup

Hawks PG Teague, SG Williams, SF Gee, PF Horford, C Andy V

I like your Pacers trade. As for the celtics I am die hard celtics fan and I can guarantee you they won't give up on Green a guy who can average 12-17 ppg for years to come and Pierces future replacement. And Bass can get you 10-12 ppg and 7-8 RPG so sorry but that alone we wouldn't do for Millsap who is a stud I know, but two guys who are starters on a lot of teams and a 1st? Sorry, no just no!

My main and only trade so far in my association is well since the hawks are re arranging the face of their franchise I decided since there have been so many trade rumors with josh smith last year I figured i would deal him and try and reload more than rebuild and I want the heat to have some one at least try and compete with the Heat in the southeast division so I wanted the charlotte bobcats to be the ones to challenge them because with Brendan haywood and MKG they at least have a defensive core where as the wizards and magic are a defensive joke IMO now. I also wanted to help build Denver bc they are looking stacked but too stacked at the SF position so I wanted balance. Josh Smith wasnt going to stay in atlanta for much longer and i want to build charlottes defense because with gread athleticism and defense, offense will slowly come. So the trade is:

                          Hawks get:
1st round pick 2013 from Charlotte
2nd round pick 2013 from Denver
2nd round pick 2014 from charlotte
                          Danillio Galanari
                          Ben Gordon

                          Denver gets:
                          Tyrus Thomas
                          Devin Harris

                          Charlotte bobcats get:
                          Josh Smith
                          K. Koufus

I feel like the nuggets get the best deal because they didn't have to give up anything important plus the hawks lose depth in the front court and Charlotte does have to give up a draft pick for a guy who could leave after the year. What do u think about that trade?

I also want to deal Brandon Jennings because he said he wants a bigger Market and anyone know a scorer that's on the trading block I could trade to philly?

THE HAWKS won the trade....I'm sorry but it's not a very fair trade. Denver just lost a prolific scorer, and a pick for two scrubs.

Denver got hosed in that one. The other parts seem fair.

One q, how do 3 team trades work in this game?
Also please review these moves. Ive already done both of em but im curious on how you guys feel. Honest feedback pls i wont be hurt lol

                              Bulls (me) got
                              David Lee
                              Brandon Rush

                              Warriors got
                              Joakim Noah
                              -------
                              Bulls got
                              Paul George
                              Roy Hibbert
                              Jeff Pendergraph

                              Pacers got
                              Nate Robinson
                              Rip Hamilton
                              Carlos Boozer
                              2013 1st rounder

The first move i did cus i was having problems boxing out and I was fiving up too many offensive boards. I also wanted a better inside/outside scoring option, which lee gives me. Also, ive had no rebounding problems with lee, who is as good or better at rebounding than noah, and rush gives me an explosive scoring option off the bench

The second one i couldnt pass up on cus hibbert is so big and such a presence in the paint, and george is lights out from the perimeter With such immense potential
