EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment

Re: Player models that don't seem right...
2k still uses like only 4 body templates for the whole NBA, so I'm not surprised body proportions for certain players are off. The day they actually make more to account for the overwhelming amount non-proportional bodies that flood the NBA, the day player bodies will start to look more realistic.Comment

I agree with Parsons.. To me the guys that look "off" are still recognizable.. Like if they showed us the game before it came out and we had all the players CFs there, no teams, no ratings, no nothing, I could still determine who was who.. Except maybe a few of the rookies I did catch much in college.
But when it comes to guys like Cole, and Parsons? Had I not saw their faces in 2K12 I would have no idea who those guys were.Comment

Aldridge looks like he's still in college without his beard.
Batum is missing his short buzz and beard stubble that would take his appearance to another level.
Lillard's tattoos are oddly enough missing?.......Antonio Rodrigo "Minotauro" Nogueira - UFC Hall of FameComment

Re: Player models that don't seem right...
Most first year players always don't get tattoos until the next game. 2K making the models before studying body art etc etc. Happened with Shump last year, Shannon Brown the year before that, Tyson Chandler etcComment
