Am i the only tone who got Kenny "The Jet" Smith? Got him from a goldbooster pack and never played a guy who got him, too.

I got him twice, sorry lol. Played against him as well. He's okay but I didn't like his shot release

I went ahead and took your advice, farmed for 15,000 VC in about 2 hours and bought a handful of gold packs. the result was: Rod Higgins (SF, Bronze) Sam Vincent (PG, Bronze) Monty Williams (SF, Bronze) Johnny Newman (SF, Silver) Vinny Del Negro (SG, Silver) and Ricky Pierce (SF, Silver). I would say that in comparison to strictly Season Opener packs, that's a way better bundle, not to mention the amount of amazing jerseys I pulled (Lakers white, retro blue rainbow Nuggets) totally the way to go man.

Waht about silver and bronze packs? Did anyone have evidence from a sample of them?

i have opened about 15 season packs and maybe 30 gold ones and 5 silvers or sthg like that - season openers were far better to me, got 2 gold legends, 1 silver current player (high resell value) and 3 quality bronze ones.

In stark contrast, i roughly recall getting a player only 1 out of 3 times (give or take) from gold packs and getting mostly bronze ones (got 1 gold and 3 silver ones and that's about it, not counting bronze legends, lots of them but they are worthless, at least the ones i got).

So season packs worked much better for me despite being double trouble in terms of farming process and never looked back; so i dont really know whether 2k changed their pattern/box contents after introducing the season packs and became more generous with the gold ones to make them somewhat more attractive since i thought that with them being after our cash the only logical conclusion would be dampening even more the cheaper packages rather than upgrading them.

Well, I pretty much play MyTeam because of the chance to use unique players and create one-of-a-kind teams. Bums me out when I become just another team... like when I had a Steph-Dell-Blake Griffin core and met a team with the same trio and identical gameplan. LOL

I just farmed 13,000 VC enough for 9 Gold Booster Packs and I didn't get sht. It was a feeling I had long since forgotten since the season opener packs became available. My new summation as of now is to solely buy the guaranteed player packs above all else.

I'm so glad I got some sort of lucky. Earl the Pearl first gold pack I ever bought. Bought **** load of season opener packs and didn't get much best player probably jim Macmillan. But I love all the legends and its really nice collecting them and getting to play with them.

Same here. Try to have a unique team. Was pretty tough the first games i played, because i didn't want to have Kyle Korver, Rivers and and and.

Funny that i didn't have one opponent with Kenny. Maybe because they all have CP3, James or Wade running the point.

I use the MyTeam-Mode more like a fantasy game to gain VC, but still trying to get in the 4th seed without a allstar packed team.

haha you may be very right and I'll most likely do the same, I just can't stand getting the same ****ty legends over and over... not sure if there's anything more frustrating in this mode than that.

Ive gotten players like Richmond, Stockton, Worthy, Eddie Jones, Gold (Players from this era, cha-ching) divac, walton, ostertag, earl monroe, all from gold packs..

I must say, after buying 9 straight Gold Packs yesterday, Gold Packs are no longer the way to go. Sure when the Season Opener Packs weren't available, Gold Packs was the best you can get for your VC. Now with the Guaranteed Player Packs, I just can't see any reason to farm for VC just to risk it all on packs that most of the time, if not always doesn't return players. I'm going to put this theory to the test one more time and farm non stop VC to use on Gold Packs. If buying 30 or so Gold Booster Packs back ti back doesn't get me good players, I'll be convinced once and for all that it's time to move on to the Guaranteed Player Packs from now on.

I got sonics sam perkins. he's the exact opposite of rodman: very good shooter with a nice post fadeaway, but ZERO rebounding and athleticism
In a few words, he's brian bollard v.2
Not using him for the moment besides exhibition games

Just farmed 15,000 VC and bought 5-6 season packs, here's what i got:
Luke Harangody, PF (Bronze, Injured)
Jeff Turner, SF (Bronze)
Michael Thompson, C (Bronze)
John Thompson, C (Bronze)
Josh Selby, PG (Bronze)

and just when I was about to give up, my last pack gave me Dennis Rodman. so... crazy right?
