I have to relearn myCareers shot release, only yesterday I can hit 5-7 on ONLINE Blacktop, now 1-7, WTF? Same release since I started myCareer, helped me get 100+ points in a game, but its driving me mad, just like what I heard IKC said, the Patch needs to be patched, offline shooting, idk, feels the same, but online, needs to at least more easy on BLACKTOP, not the quick games, but Blacktop was meant to be the NBA JAM mode, not a Superstar-difficulty with Simulation sliders. I know I sound like a complainer about shooting, but I have to re learn the timing that I excelled in for about 3 months, which isn't good.

Oh I noticed that Blacktops Shot clock changed from the NCAA standard to the NBA standard 24 seconds. And Celebs are playable in Offline Blacktop.

I'm having trouble with the shot stick in mycareer mode. When I explode out of the triple threat, beat my man and try to finish at the basket, I get nothing from the shot stick. My player just keeps running. What's the deal, anyone else seeing this?

I also can't make a shot to save my life. It's like the game is completely different, have to relearn everything.

Edit: Finding more stuff they messed up. Playing mycareer as a PG, we get a defensive rebound and the ball is given to me. I start to head up court and pass the ball across half court, hoping my teammate will attack the basket or look for a shot, instead he stops at the 3pt line and passes the ball back to me and I get a backcourt violation and a turnover. This is terrible 2k! Has happened twice in my first game since getting the patch. This is with playcalls on.

I think I liked it better when the playcalling was broken. May have to just turn it off, because my teammates want to run the play as if the lord himself commanded it.

Ikc said the patch needed to be be patched. Lol well he said that's what he's been hearing.

Anyone notice that you now start out further away from the hoop in Blacktop?

That nerfs the VC exploit--playing as Dennis Scott or Jason Richardson and chucking up threes the instant you're handed the ball won't work anymore, since you're too far away.

I'm gonna catch hell for saying this, but...well played, 2K.

Just finished my first game. Now that the playcall option works, you see that its actually kinda broken. I noticed too many times, playing as a wing player and grabbing a board and trying to get out and run. At times the computer insists on calling a play. If your playing SG, for example, the PG will run at you, bringing his man, trying to get the ball from you. That's annoying. Is there anyway to cancel a play? Because that would help a lot. I'm like, dude get stop calling for the ball, I got this.

Anyone else not earning vc after playing quick games. I just played 3 and did not get vc after any of them. This was not a problem before the patch

I need a second opinion. Does anyone else think that the on-the-ball defense is tighter a.k.a. less sliding? Granted, I only played one game, but I actually played defense for the ENTIRE game, and didn't get frustrated once.

Nope. Just played a game where my opponent just turbo through me when I was right in front of him to stop him from driving. Had to let him drive in the paint and bring my big man over to stop the layup. Defense still weak.

me 3 ..i like the patch especially the improvements in reaching fouls...but they need to fix this no VC glitch now

Actually contesting doesn't do much (maxed on-ball D, 85 d-awareness), if you still got a good mid + 3 point shot/rating, nothing happens if your contested on a shot, Im just sayin that magically wide open shots are not money, i can hit more contested shots then wide open shots...
