I like that the offensive rebounding issues was addressed, along with the much higher reach-in fouls being called now for people who use the steal button too much. Game is less sloppy/frustrating on offense now playing against other people and not having to worry so much about the ball getting knocked loose/stolen after a rebound, post-up/protect ball stance, or even just dribbling the ball and setting up plays.
I wish they would of addressed the pass/catching system some though. There are too many passes that get thrown off defenders bodies, bounce passes thrown in traffic leading to kick balls/turnovers, very close passes that never reach the recipients hands, and cpu defenders that tip the ball still a little bit too much.
Also, off-ball the bumping animation when you run into someone is very annoying this year. Trying to move around the court and play defense or trying to cut or move off-ball on offense is a pain. Inside the paint on defense if you bump into anyone and try to jump to contest/block the shot your jump is often very delayed or your player simply won't jump at all. This really needs to be toned down.
On pump fakes, the defender if jumping can still block the ball and knock it out of the ball handlers hands. That needs to be addressed.
It seems like dunks in traffic frequency/success might of been toned down just a little bit which is good. However, they really need to work on the contact/collision physics alot more for 2k14 so that on defense you can draw contact/collision animations on dunks with the possiblity of sometimes blocking the ball. Defenders hands morphing through balls on blocks needs to get worked on. There also needs to be less sliding on the court on contact and better footplanting. Defense inside the paint needs to mimic the way it was in 2k11.Comment

Alot of the problems/complaints with this thread stem from we all play so many different modes, sliders, rosters, and settings which isn't even counting skill/style that's is really hard to tell what is what. For example i use MKharsh sliders (set 2) and i have used various rosters. My last game which was post patch my fastbreak total was 27 with Milwaukee vs the Jazz with 6 on all-star. The Jazz were also about 40% PIP. The Jazz shot 37% for the game. So here in my one post patch game i had the completely opposite experience as you did. I am not saying your points were right or wrong, just pointing out how ones experience with whether this game or patch is good or bad can vary so much.
Put it down for simulation
It's more realistic harder to make 3s unless you rating is high and higher than the average position you won't be dunking alot more fouls when driving like real life I will foul you before you dunk on me!! And if you quick enough more and ones!!Comment

I like the game even more post patch , before I took a break because my MyCareer messed up with the contract . Rebounding is better and idk things just seem better a lil . I play on Superstar with Sim sliders . I don't see half the problems y'all complaining about .Comment

I had to put back the defensive help slider back to 50 so I can play on ball D again...it feels like I'm fighting the controller having it at 0 all of the sudden...I don't know...Comment
