Re: No More VC doing @12min HOF coach mode
I just played a quick game Nets vs Boston, 12 min quarters on HOF - coach mode. I didn't get 750 VC for the playing time, I got nothing for the win, I got 0 VC.
So apparently 2K thought it was good to remove this feature so we can't earn an easy buck.
1. You earn absolutely nothing while playing MyCareer, everything is TOO expensive as well.
2. You don't get any VC doing coach mode no more.
3. You only get some VC when you play 12 min quarters. Who has that time?
4. Blacktop mode has changed as well, so you can't shoot 3's and get an easy (I forgot) 250 VC?
5. You don't get VC playing association, again just VC for the time you put into it.
So 2K, what do you want from us? You want us to buy VC from you? This is so unbelievably lame.Comment

Do you use coach mode on association? I think the people that are trying the coach mode trick are the ones experiencing no VC.

Re: No More VC doing @12min HOF coach mode
Which modes do you play?
I can't upgrade jack even though I go 20-30 ppg - 5 apg - 5 rbg - 1 spg. I like and try to keep things realistic. Even if I go 80 ppg it doesn't change a single thing, I won't get a lot of VC or more for that matter. So how am I going to upgrade my player when everything is so expensive. If you get 150 VC per game that would take you 20 games to get a sig skill. I play on 12 min quarters, do the math. You want me to ballhog, play 3 min quarters and go 100 ppg? That's fun and realistic.
There is no way to earn VC get over it. I'll try and play an association game tomorrow and see if I still get VC, if I don't what then? I only play 12 min quarters, so I didn't earn it? Someone in this thread already said he got 0 VC even though he played the whole game. Explain that.Comment

Me personally I'm not using coach mode and since the patch i haven't received any vc points, I've been playing 12 minute superstar games.ARE YOU LOOKING FOR YOUTUBE CHANNELS DEDICATED TO THE SIM COMMUNITY CLICK THE LINKS BELOW, AND SUBSCRIBE FOR ALL SIM CONTENT.

Idk how the whole VC thing works as far as quick game/association. I played a 12 minute quick play game with a friend and earned no VC. Later that night, I played an association game all the way through and got 750 VC. Played one more that same night but got sleepy so I simmex midway through the 3rd. Still got 750 VC at the end...

Re: No More VC doing @12min HOF coach mode
I think the playtime bonus(playing an hour) is still in effect. I play 8 min quarters on all star, and always check stats and sim a few games before. If i don't get it after the first game I usually receive the 750VC when I go to play the next game. This works post patch just like nothing has changed. Believe they took out the quick game VC because so many guys left it on coach mode and walked away.Keep Fighting the Good FightComment

Re: No More VC doing @12min HOF coach mode
I'm pretty bummed about not earning VC for Quick Games. It definitely gave meaning to playing NBA Today games for me. Now that meaning has more or less gone out the window. Will playing the featured game still yield VC?
This VC thing has just been an absolute mess this year.Comment

Re: No More VC doing @12min HOF coach mode
All I can say is that myself and many many many other posters here called it, and said that 2k was heading down this road. They want you to buy VC. That's their strategy. They have now made VC even harder to get it.Comment

Re: No More VC doing @12min HOF coach mode
Well I'm noticing something different...I'm earning random VC from the FB game like 10 VC or 50 VC there for doing little random things now. This wasn't in at 1st maybe they took it away to get folks focused on the littlle apps now. If they did they should've told us."Wisdom is ALWAYS an overmatch for strength"........The Zen MasterComment
