I feel everybody pain because ever since the patch I can steal the ball at all, my steals are at 99 and I have the pickpocket @ level 3, I like that they don't let you just reach constantly but I should be able to steal from the power forwards and centers without a foul call.

Contrary to previous 2K's, even pre-patch I was unable to dunk without having a specific dunk package assigned. This was in MyCareer mode. I assume that is how it works throughout the rest of the game as well but I suppose I cannot say for certain. I have been removing all packages from players I do not want to see dunk (ex: Isiah Thomas) and thus far it seems to have been effective.

Are you sure? Cuz I made a Athletic PG (of course) and I was doing all kinds of different dunks with "None" equipped (2 handed dunks, rim grazer, basic onehand...)

I might have equipped everything but a Go-to-Package I guess.

Yeah, I can't be 100% certain on this one but that's the way it's felt this year. I was boosting my dunk rating in MyCareer for a while, getting into the 60+ range and was still unable to dunk, even in practice. Then, the moment I noticed I did not have any packages assigned and rectified the issue, my player immediately began dunking with ease (executing the dunks in the packages I assigned). My brother had the same issue.

Also, if you provided dunks in every slot but the go-to, I think that'd still be good enough to allow him to slam.

Yeah, you needed a dunk package to dunk pre-patch as well. You don't need a go-to dunk package to dunk, in my experience you get a more open range of dunks without it. I had the ****-back tomahawk package as a go-to and the 360 reverses and 360 windmills(I think that's what it's called) and no matter how much I tried I couldn't do a 360 it would always end up in a adjusted layup, when I removed the tomahawk package I was doing 360s almost all the time.

So what do you do when there is a new roster out? Doesn't it apply to EVERY player (current and legends) -> overwriting everything and therefore giving back his dunk packages?

Do you load your own roster every time without the new updated player or do you add the updated players yourself or edit them or whatever?

I load my own roster every time I start up 2K13. I've saved three copies of this roster just in case one accidentally gets auto-saved over. As such, my shoe edits, dunk edits, and classic team edits all stay. I resigned myself to the fact that I might not be able to have official 2K versions of the likes of Kent Bazemore, James White, and Kyle Singler but in return, I feel I'll have a roster that I very much prefer to 2K's. There's also usually solid enough versions of every missing player found on 2KShare, so that gets the job done for me in a pinch.

False. Loll You do need a dunk package equipped I had Dunk at 85, Vertical 90, and 6'4 and couldn't even dunk wide open in practice. But I could do 360s in game once I equipped a dunk package

i will make a video and give you proof.
my 6'7" athletic point guard has been dunking since game 10 (i do vertical and dunk first) WITHOUT a dunk package.

he still does normal 2 hand dunks and 1 handed dunks.

if you have highlight film then all it does is use a flashy dunk from your package.
if you dont have a dunk package but have highlight film or posterizer you wont be able to dunk.
they will both be looking for a dunk to go to, since you dont have a package they stop you from dunking.

my guy is now maxed out in everything but i will remove all dunk sig skills and show you he CAN dunk WITHOUT a dunk package.

maybe we're both right. maybe because im an "athletic" point guard i can dunk.
i would imagine a pass first pg probably wouldnt dunk without a package.

Thats probably why then, I think Im Scorer PG and trust me I Really couldn't even dunk in practice After Having 85 Dunk and Vertical raised. Looked like I was doing Flying lay-ups loll

Dunk packages for individual players can be assigned through the "Edit Player" screen. When editing a specific player, dunk assignments can be found under the "Signature Skill" page, near the bottom.

Thanks a lot. But sill there is some not in 100% clear for me. For example I assigned dunks to my players and also assigned plays to each player in my team. How I can SAVE my configuration and use them during ONLINE QUICK GAMES?

I'm asking as some time ago i used SAVE ROSTERS where set several 3PT plays for P.Pierce and it doesn't work when I play online. It only works with offline games versus computer.

I would appreciate if you could answer my questions cheers!
