That's exactly why...people think that it's more fun to shoot 75% than to shoot like 33%, and 2K is struggling to find the happy medium I think.

It's been updated, but guys like Gary Forbes and Goudelock are on people's teams, so I doubt they're ever just gonna remove them.

Weird I'm only shooting 42%. And open 3s (+ Quality shots) are at least 70%. Contested shots are around 30%. For me, though.

the worst thing about the 3's is that it doesnt matter if the player's three point rating is 90 or 80...hes still going to go 5/5 when wide open...**** not even ray allen does that in real life...nor does novak. i hope they could just adjust these things so players actually differ in their abilities.

This is true.... I went 4/4 on 3s with Kwahi Leonard online. He was wide open but I still don't think I should've made every one. 2k online= 1 step forward, 2 steps and a trip and fall back smh.

I'm genuinely shooting 65-75% today and everyone is back to putting up 30 threes a game with Korver, Novak, etc...I still win usually, but I was really enjoying playing with the nerfed threes. The three point contest just sucks - it makes playing on ball defense a massive gamble (I know, I know I suck, learn to play, etc....)

2K really can't find a middle. 2K decrease 3, it becomes a Slam Dunk Contest. 2K increase 3, it becomes a shoot out. According to people I've seen. You can decrease both, but not only one, IMO.

2k needs to stick to one theme. By that I mean are you going to produce a sim product (actually paying attention to the real NBA game), or do whatever makes casual gamers happy (dunks and 3s galore).

I think sim is with Offline/Online users with Friends who want to play Sim and Arcade is the basic Online + Blacktop.

How many people complaining play their Associations with real FG and FT % off; I certainly do. Reason is because I like to get rewarded for my good play. I don't have a problem with the 3s, it real simple, don't leave shooters open, I can count on one finger the amount of contested 3s made on me; it rarely happens. When players are hitting 3s, its because I'm leaving shooter wide open which means I need to play better defense the next trip down. Stop leaving shooter wide open in the zone and just maybe Korver won't hit 5/5. Its not Korver fault he able to recite the alphabet before taking a jumper. Don't blame 2k blame your D.

People love to complain. I have no problems too, defense effects the shot. Last week, nothing effects the shot, but it would miss. Week before that, Shots can go in, but sometimes defense will not do nothing. I found that people left me open, enough to most likely Say "Brian scalabrine" 10 times and when I get it, I actually make it most of the time.

Don't you agree though that it makes playing on ball D really dangerous? Guys will just dribble in circles on the perimeter...it's not like you can just steal it, reach in fouls are so prevalent online...when you inevitably get shaken momentarily they can put up an "uncontested" three...I hate it because it almost mandates playing off-ball when "open" threes are a guaranteed thing. I much prefer playing good solid on-ball D, but it's just not smart online.

That's why I hold LT (Xbox) If I hold and move it, I can stay with my man. It can be dangerous, but I would say its more reckless to try to keep up while moving using Turbo or not trying.

Seems like the shot contest (L2 on PS3 I think) is not effective against the 3 as much anymore. I've used it a lot today only for the animation not to play out.

Weird. Again, I find it very effective for me, and my friend who I told him to use it. I dont even have "Lockdown Defender" just "Pick Pocket" and my On-Ball D is maxed (95.) Why do I have better/worse experiences when someone else has worse/better experiences?
