    NET/RIM Physics

For years, the net and rim phyiscs seem to be off in the NBA 2K franchise. The nets look like a cob-web and the way the ball interacts with the net is off. If you watch a real NBA game you will notice that the net barely moves on layups and other short shots. Basically, the faster the ball is moving/spinning, the more the net is going to move. The nets in NBA LIVE are actually more close to accurate than 2K.

I am just hoping this is something that is worked on in future iterations of this game. It will only had to the realism and make it look like a real game on your TV.

Dude If you have the PC version there are even mods that change this aspect of the game....I agree with you default rim/net is horrible...

PC version is wonderful....really mods change the game as I never see before....actually the worst aspect is the patch that will come out MONTHS after the console version....

Yeah, problem is most people get the console version, not PC.

That's because the net is actually made of a bunch of lines connected at the end. Instead the effect of a bunch of twine that would sway in the breeze while in a total vacuum is made.

        I doubt it'll change though.
