Gordon Hayward - Chasedown Artist (Self-Explanatory). You can also make the case for Spot-Up Shooter, as he's bumped his 3-point percentage up to 40% this season. Also needs a ratings boost, but I won't go into that on here.
Derrick Favors - Eraser, Scrapper (High-energy guy, gets a lot of boards in limited minutes, plays excellent defense, blocks shots).
Al Jefferson - Hustle Points (A lot of his points come off tip-ins and second chance buckets).
DeMarre Carroll - Scrapper (Also needs a significant boost in his 3-Point Rating, shooting 30% this year, but rating is only 45, should be at least a 60).
Randy Foye - Spot-Up Shooter (Surprised he doesn't have it already).
Remove Pickpocket from Earl Watson.
Give Jamaal Tinsley Dimer. One of the most efficient passing guards in the league statistically.
Remove Eraser from Jeremy Evans.
And can someone please put Kevin Murphy in the online roster?Last edited by JazzMan; 03-07-2013, 02:48 PM.Twitter: @TyroneisMaximus

Re: The "I Think this Player Deserves this Sig Skill" Thread
What are the reasons for your sig skill suggestions?
Henderson: Shoots 43% from the field. 56% of his shots are assisted. Compare this to Kemba Walker who has about the same efficiency but gets assisted only 38% of the time. Makes absolutely no sense to give Henderson a bonus.
Afflalo: Gets assisted on almost 70% of his midrange attempts...so why shot creator?
Jennings: Makes it barely into the Top 25 in assists per game. Players like Lin,Mo Williams,Teague,Dragic,Pargo and Calderon are doing the same things in less minutes. Why should he get a special bonus for his passing, which is absolutely mediocre compared to other PGs?
Jack: Finally this makes sense. He's efficient at creating his own shot, so this suggestion is reasonable at least.
But in general, it's a good idea to look at actual stats in addition to game recap and highlight reels.Comment

Re: The "I Think this Player Deserves this Sig Skill" Thread
I've said it before and i will say it again
Vucevic for scrapper.
How does Vasquez still not have the dimer sig ? 9.4 apg good for 3rd in the NBA.
Would anyone else give Jameer the dimer sig ? For association mode i give certain Magic players that i think deserve a sig skill like Nicola and have been contemplating if Jameers 7.5 apg is warranted for the dimer sig.Last edited by Maccy46; 03-07-2013, 08:40 PM.Comment

Re: The "I Think this Player Deserves this Sig Skill" Thread
I'm still not sure what 2k even planned when adding certain sig skills, and dimer is one of them. I assume the passing rating already influences the fg% of players catching the ball, so I'm not convinced that dimer makes much sense if you scale passing ratings realistically across the league.I've said it before and i will say it again

Personally, I use dimer mostly for point forwards like Bird/Iggy and skilled big men like KG and Duncan.
On the other hand, I get your point and my idea for future games would be to split up passing ratings into different categories. There are players like Andre Miller and Jose Calderon, who are simply legends if you look at their consistency.
But they wouldn't be as effective if they tried to do some flashy prime Nash/Kidd stuff all the time, and probably vice versa. Take away all his creative freedom and a guy like Nash isn't that much better at doing the solid job of a player like Calderon.
So in future games, these differences should get more attention. Passing is more complex than just a simple rating. So 2k should differentiate between basic accuracy and avoiding turnovers on the one hand, but also the ability of some players to make creative highlight passes even though efficiency might suffer. I mean even Magic had a pretty terrible turnover ratio, but it was worth it. On the other hand, a player like Calderon is solid and consistent without having this kind of creative genius. But he could probably run any team good enough.
So I'd like if 2k expanded the passing rating system instead of using gimmicks like dimer.Last edited by mango_prom; 03-08-2013, 05:02 AM.Comment

did you see him in this years dunk contest?

Good point. He kept messing up the ft line dunk cuz flight crew wasn't positioned straight to the hoop which made White have to go a little to the left, slowing him down before the jump. The second dunk looked like he was just tired from the first one.
