i liked the old style of no name artist mixed in with a touch mainstream music

please no more soundtracks thats 95% of the same 2 artist (Jay and Kanye) then 5% of 20 year old songs that are too explicit to be in the game and have every other word blanked out

rihanna wailing everytime before a game got old REAL QUICK; so did Jay-z's voice. dont get me wrong i like some of Jay-Z's music (actually i only really listen to Reasonable Doubt), but please don't have him serve as "executive producer" ever again. He seemed more focused on marketing himself than actually making a pleasant visual/audio experience for the consumer; menu visuals felt kind of juvenile and soundtrack was mediocre. at any rate, 2k should go back to their roots, and have more quality music from lesser-known artists, more INSTRUMENTALS, more music with a hooping vibe, and music from artists known for being into hooping:

• epik high - go (instrumental)
• one be lo - rocketship (dj four, one, one remix)
• instrumentals from the hoopmixtape vids (check out kd lockout vid)
• some songs from the Space Jam soundtrack
• rockie fresh - driving 88, how we do, or panera bread (instrumental)
• bring back pharcyde - passing me by, & little brother - carolina agents
• people under the stairs - swan fever
• dj jazzy jeff & the fresh prince - boom! shake the room
• skee-lo - i wish
• nas - halftime
• asap rocky - goldie (instrumental)
• gang starr - full clip

or just have peanut butter wolf do the soundtrack again.

This is the worst news I've ever heard.

LeBron James has announced on Instagram he will be responsible for picking the tunes in the NBA 2K14 soundtrack.

He didn’t reveal any of the songs he’s chosen yet, but he’s asking for fans’ suggestions. NBA 2K14 should have a good selection of hip-hop songs so I’m sure fans and Lebron James himself could come up with something decent.
