Really dude? Grinding my myplayer out makes me better? Thats like saying even if you're NBA ready, you should still grind out 4 years of college....YEAH RIGHT!!! ahahaha, So I guess Kobe, KG, and Lebron Should be banned from the NBA because they didn't "GRIND it out" and do the 4 years in college right? You know why I'm bragging? Because I'm Nice...I don't have cater to you or anybody on this forum. You're lucky i even post on here. I could be one of the best players on 2k and not even share my wealth of knowledge and expertise to this community. 98% of the people on this forum suck at 2k, and are just average ball players. That's Facts! Ya'll bitch and complain about average **** that elite players figure out how to get around within a few encounters of it. I mean Honestly, you really think if you give me an 80 overall myplayer i won't be nice with him? I'll take Iman Shumpert, and run circles around you with anybody of your choice. Being Good at a game has nothing to do with your overall. As far Online gaming, people like myself just want to max out our capabilities so we can have all dunk packages, layup packages, jumpshots etc readily available when we jump online. Damn you're an idiot...It's like Ya'll want everybody to play fair, and be nice...hold hands, play myplayer for 100s of hours, smell like cheese and funk, and when you finally get your myplayer legit to a 99, you can bring him outside and hopefully no one plays cheesey and you can score and dunk and block and you can feel like you're the man..

I swear dudes on this forum be killing me. Like seriously, in the entire world, there are only like about 500 of you who are actually good at this game...FACTS!! 8 billion people on the planet....do the math!

Call me cocky, or whatever you want, but alot of yall dont know nothing about basketball. I give it up to peoples like vannwolfhawk, vni,bedwardroy, optik, and a few others who try their best to break down 2k for the rest of the community, but the rest of yall who stay hating and complaining about how bad the game is, and crying about 99 myplayers, do me a favor, either get better basketball I.Q and better understanding of basketball and play with people and against people that are better than you and who cheese you so you can get used to their style so you can adjust to them, or just sthu already and quit complaining....

Lol at this guy acting like he's the **** when really he's just a 2K nerd. Go out and actually talk to real people instead of bragging about how good you are at a ****ing video game.

I agree..i do brag...I agree...this post has gotten off topic..I agree, nothing anyone says on here will change the fact that those who hate on my philosophy still arent better than me in NBA 2K...oh well such is life...

Lets not forget the reason we're all posting here. The fact remains crew mode has not been in 2k for 2 seasons. Whether we bitch and complain about VC, Myplayers, Hacks, ranks none of it matters because for those posting on this thread, we dont the mode we want most.

The purpose of this thread was to have the community's voices be heard. I'm sorry if i offended any of you on here. My mindset is that I want to be able to play crew. Period. We can leave all the bravado, and the Huffing and puffing to when we see each other out there on the court. Until then, I'd like to get everyone who wants this mode back to speak your mind on why you feel this mode should make its return in NBA 2K14. Everyone i know enjoys playing competitively in crew mode with their friends and being able to use their myplayers. Yes, in 2k11, there were hacks. Yes there were uncapped myplayers. Yes there were 25ft tall giants. But you know what? It was still fun. I managed to still have a blast with this game and to date is the most fun and most time spent playing one videogame.

Chris Manning has been supportive of this thread from the get go and i applaud him for his efforts. Lets try our best to right the ship and keep this thread going. I'll refrain from bragging and putting my knowledge of the game of 2K first, and you guys out there keep bringing fresh ideas and reasons why crew should come back. Have a great weekend, and keep the comments coming.

What do you guys think about putting crew back in but limiting it to only nba players? I know this isn't exactly what everyone wants but as a temporary solution i think it would make everyone happy. If they need an extra year to figure out the my player mess than this could be the stop gap. I know id be more than happy to settle for this

They've had 2 years to figure out myplayer and I'm sure they have. Crew's replay value would be much higher with my players than NBA players... I know I wouldn't want to play Crew with just NBA teams cause I'm 1000% more than 75% of the crews I will be facing will be the Heat or the Nets.

They've had 2 years to figure out myplayer and I'm sure they have. Crew's replay value would be much higher with my players than NBA players... I know I wouldn't want to play Crew with just NBA teams cause I'm 1000% more than 75% of the crews I will be facing will be the Heat or the Nets.

True but chances are 90% of people will still use those teams. They'll just use their PG instead of Chalmers and probably have Bron play the 4 and use their guy at the 3. If you are able to play with 5 consistently then it wouldn't be any problem but for me personally I usually played around 2-3 people.

Yeah but in crew, real players are dumbed down, i.e. LeBron won't play like LeBron as far as attributes.

This wouldn't make me happy at all. You might as well just play team up and pray you get the Dream Team vs. Team USA match up, because that's all it'll be. I really don't want to play a crew pick up game where our Center is LeBron, PF is Kobe, PG is Dwight Howard, ect. because they were all in a mad rush to pick the best guys. And if you limit the choice to By position, you'll have the quitting mess you have with team-up. Someone won't get to choose D. Howard as his center, so he'll quit because he doesn't want to play with anyone else.

I didn't mean you pick who you want lol my bad I confused you. I meant that you just use regular NBA teams. So it would be say Knicks vs Pacers like a regular team up game but your stats count and your record counts towards a leaderboard.

True, but your my player becomes Lebron basically because even with an 85 overall its essentially an equal player to Lebron imo at least. But im with you id much rather it go back to the way it was but id settle for the way i suggested over no crew at all

maybe they can have a system like myTeam where your team gains coins for wins and can buy players with the coins. Just hope that you aren't able to buy those coins with real money and have to earn them.

But honestly I hope they can get the My Player's worked into crew this year.

Of course you don't care if people took a shortcut and bought their player, you did it too. You gotta spend what? $30? And suddenly you get to stand there and jack up 3's all game and dunk through people and get cheap wins. Lol, the logic for this game.

Nope, you are wrong, but nice try in 2k13 I haven't spent a dime on VC; earned it all by playing games, and got my guy up to an 88 overall.
That brings me to my point, because once I got my guy highly rated enough to do everything well I just quit playing. Without Crew Mode there is really no motivation to keep playing My Career. I mean sure, you could play blacktop, but let's be honest, blacktop is a joke.

Dude you're funny...You better check those leaderboards son! It's not about the games played, its about the skills it takes to remain great. Just for ****znGiggles what crew were you on? What was their rank? What position did you mostly play? What system were you on?

Just wondering.....
