Nah man, it's not about the team rank, it's not about the leaderboards, and it sure as hell isn't about the rank. I know for a fact, that my 5 will smack your 5 in the mouth. I played SF, but due to our lineup, I played PF. X360 btw. We were as high as the like 180's or so before running into a bunch of the top teams who didn't play actual basketball, and always used some sort of cheesy tactic to get buckets and the W, i.e. repetitive spin dunks, reverse layup cheese, up&unders, etc. It was either that or the entire team was 7 feet tall, in which at that point the mode became a joke. When I say just about all the top teams were playing this way, it's no exaggeration. I'll send you a friend request, I'm sure 14 will have crew, when you and your sisters get your players to 85 overall, lets run. If you guys play the cheesy crap, don't even botherDude you're funny...You better check those leaderboards son! It's not about the games played, its about the skills it takes to remain great. Just for ****znGiggles what crew were you on? What was their rank? What position did you mostly play? What system were you on?
Just wondering.....

my crew was ranked 26 on ps3(sure we won enough games on the last night to get top 25, but servers were down the next day), only legit mp's, and no cheesy bs. 4 horsemenComment

Leaderboards don't mean anything when 80% of teams you played had hacked players...
On topic though, Crew needs to come back but on one stipulation: now that people are releasing hacked rosters for 99 uncapped my players I guess we could only play on the default rosters 2K puts out. Unless they actually fix that problem too?...
All these people looking for free shortcuts are just ruining it for themselves and they don't even realize it. Pathetic.I don't wanna be Jordan, I don't wanna be Bird or Isiah, I don't wanna be any of those guys.
I want to look in the mirror and say I did it my way.

I hate to bring back the VC issue from this thread again, but buying VC won't really make you that much better.
A lot of people forget that your my player gets Hot zones from playing my player and shooting well from a particular spot on the court during the course of the season. People who buy VC and don't actually play the my player mode won't have these hot zones on their player, so technically buying VC will make your player better faster, but not really better in the long run.
Hot zones don't work for blacktop if I remember correctly but they do in crew mode.
Also, no more rants/petitions to take out VC from the game. 2K is a company, and their job is to please the customers and make money. VC makes them a lot of money and is a proven way to prevent hacks. It's also been confirmed that VC is in 2k14 So in other words, they aren't taking it out.
but back on topic. We need crew back, Me and my friends played 2k11 all day and night, even with the hacks and 30-60 minute wait times to get in. Even crew is not coming back for 2k14, Can 2k give us some "My player team up mode" instead of "My player blacktop mode" ~It will be playable than that "no-rule" boring MODEComment

I agree find this mode unplayable. Its harder to miss a shot than make one and unless your playing with friends good luck getting more than 5 shots. Making the mode into a 5 v 5 actual teamup game can really improve what you can do with my playerComment

yes ~ i m lucky to have 2 great friend with me so we can always play well as a team.......however the opposite side is always horrible
the guy who handle the ball always play a one man show/3pt contest/"un-blocked" slam dunk with a missing x button controller(a button for 360 controller
)
i really hope we can have a normal 5 v 5 game with my player this year

2K11 - Crew mode is born. Cheaters ruin it
2K12 - No crew or blacktop. We cry about it
2K13 - Blacktop returns. Cheaters ruin it via 2kshare starting July 2013
2K14 - No crew or blacktop? We cry about it
the excuse is always "well everyone else was modding their player so I had to too"
whateverrrr mannnnn, yall deserve to not have crew or blacktop since the same ones clamoring for its return are the same ones who cause it's removal by cheating.Comment

1st off rookie, crew mode and myplayer mode initially debuted in NBA 2K10. Second, who cares about a few guys playing with uncapped myplayers on a game mode no one even plays anymore? If you're still playing nba 2k13 blacktop mode in the summer, grab a rope and a chair and i'll let your imagination do the rest...anyways, 2k isnt worried about a few lame people. Crew mode is fixed, and should be a part of 2k14. Even if its not, LD2K has already stated whatever that one guy did to hack his guy, he wont be able to do in 2k14.....so lets all calm down and relax....one monkey don't stop the show!
