    Just to be absolutely clear, the more "live" the ball is, the better the game can be.
    The more body parts the ball can interact with, the better the game can be.
    Blame most often rests with specific animations, or a lack of them.
    Physics aren't implemented, they implement.

      Ive blocked dunks but very rarely , u just have to time your jump to where the dunk is almost over at the end, and get a hand on the ball. But no blocks at the apex of players dunks though..

        Block a dunk, ok it's not a lot of times. But you should think you can.
        When a guy goes for the dunk, I think think "why jump? I can't block it".

        This big problem is that you can't defend on dunk animations.
        Of course, you can't block the dunk.
        But you can't bother the guy either! If you put yourself in front of him, the dunk animation will make you slide on the floor. You absolutely can't bother a dunker.
        And that's annoying.
