5 Tips on how to DOMINATE on Nba 2k

Ok guys so this stuff may be common sense but others may think otherwise. When I say dominate on NBA 2k I dont mean pick Lebron and drive the lane all game. I am basically giving tips on how to be good and be respected while still winning.

I want to hear your tips also as they are just as valued as anyone elses!!!

1.Pick a team that fits you!
2.Use different defensive schemes and ON BALL at all times!
3.Work the post
4.Utilize 3 but do not abuse
5.Play out games you lose

No sir all the tips I posted are the same that I talk about in my video. I dont need hits I have a good following. I just go into more elaborate detail in my video about them. I use video to help draw more opinions towards the topics I post about.

OK, then... perhaps you would care to share a tip on beating a zone defense? Love to see if this is just a prayer for video hits or not, because believe me, thats EXACTLY how it looks.

1. Don't play MyTeam.
2. Pick a Top 20 team (that has least 3 good 3pt shooters) to play with.
3. Only play with that team.
4. Pick one "super-set" play to run with the whole game (you might have to edit playbooks and assign plays before the game), preferably Horns 1.
5. Turn "Contest" option in "My Controller Settings" to "Always". Focus at just running full pelt and trying to knock the shooter as they shoot.

Bonus:

6. Don't bother playing Superstars on ball. Just provide help with a big.
7. Switch players often on most defensive possessions.
8. Use the RS to deny penetration, by pushing it INTO the ball handler.
9. Use a 2-3 zone when the offense only has 1 good 3pt shooter.

OK, then... perhaps you would care to share a tip on beating a zone defense?

Simple. Horns. Most Horns plays begin with two shooters in the corners, so beating 1-3-1 and 3-2 with it are not a problem. Most 1-3-1 zone users will try and contest the shot with their center, so always pass the ball to the shooter who is furthest away from the center. If your opponent is smarter than the average 2k player, he'll start of with a 1-3-1 to goad you into passing to a wide open shooter, and then quickly switch to man-to-man while the pass is in the air, taking away your open look. In that case, just run the Horns play as intended from the beginning, by entering it into one of the bigs, and if the shooter is still wide open you can just pass from there.

2-3 isn't really difficult to breakdown as long as you have at least a couple of shooters and a slasher.

Well of course every zone has its weak points. If there was a perfect defense to run where there was no holes in it every team would run it lol. So it is a matter of studying the defense that the opponent is also using then knowing what plays to run to get guys open in the weak points.

Honestly lol I have a link to my videos in my signature like everyone else so what would be the huge difference in having my link literally inches above my signature. Its not to promote it just corresponds with my post. Sorry if it came off that way did not intend it to.

Era doesnt matter. Its about knowing the greats who came before this actually pretty TERRIBLE era.

Mitch Richmond played in the 90s, retired in 2004. And he is alive. And he is ROLLING in his grave right now at this current NBA product.

Any team can win in this game guys, agreed with the thread starter that pick the best team that fits you, I have over 200 wins and not a single one with the powerhouse teams. If youre a Cavs or Kings fan, dont be afraid to pick them, learn the strenght and weakness of each player and you can beat just about anyone.

I know around 95% of online players arent even a fan of Heat, Knicks, Thunder and Clippers fan, they pick those teams to feel confident about winning, I'm a Jazz, Rockets and Cavs user my record is 234-30, so yes can win with anyone.
