Can you reset your MyPlayer skill points?

I don't know how exactly to term it but can you reset your MyPlayer skills points if you want to rebuild him?

My center is very offensive but I would like to make him more of a Shaq type defender.

Lastly I was spending points on skills and have another question...

Can you only have a certain number of "active" sig skills used at a time or are all the sig skills you buy ALWAYS active?

    Make since?

Shaq wasn't ever a defensive center lol

All the sig skills you get are active but gatorade pack is useless after the 1st quarter and closer isn't useful till the 4th ( i wouldn't get it doesn't do anything )

Shaq was known to throw a block or two.

Shaq wasnt defensive. He just weighed twice as much as everyone that nobody could get through him lol. So I guess if you want your player to be more defensive start spending that VC on Cheeseburgers and not on skill points.

Shaq didn't explode weight wise until his later years and he averaged 2.3 block a game for his career. Dikembe Mutumbo one of the best defenders in NBA history in terms of blocks averaged 2.8, So what are you talking about he wasn't defensive

No one seems to give you an answer. But no, you can not take back VC and spend it on a different attribute like you could in 2K11 and 2K12.

It's a shame, because sometimes you just want to mess around and max out your player with 3 point shooting and then re-adjust it for the next game and go back to normal.

VC took it over the top and screwed it up.

No, you SHOULD be able to considering there's a cap either way...

Some more obvious warnings (2k has never been good at this) would have been nice, I didn't realize I had limited blocks to hand out until I was nearly done with my dude.

It takes so damn long to level up, you'd think they'd let you adjust. I'm banking on the fact that you can use those Boosters, though... but those don't work in Pro-Am? so good luck with that.
