    Re: Paul George

I think that Paul George is better than Danny Granger, however saying that Paul George should have a higher rating is not necessarily correct in my opinion. In my opinion, you guy on this thread are too focused on the general composite rating, not the individual ratings. Yes I think Paul George should have some better defensive stats. However, 2K's formula that combines all of a players attributes into one overall heavily favors offensive attributes. George should be better defensively but don't think that is going to increase or should increase his overall because it very well may not - even if he is now a better player in the game. A pretty good example of this is Ray Allen vs. Tony Allen. Ray Allen isn't a great defender in the game but has superior offensive skills (41% from 3 PT this year). Tony Allen can't shoot a 3 PT shot to save his life (14% this year). However, anyone who has a good knowledge of basketball and 2k13 knows that Tony Allen is one of the best defenders in the league and in the game. You can't just claim for someone's overall to be higher without pointing out specific attributes that should be increased or changed.

        Re: Paul George

I can vouch for his defense. As the Cavs, I sent Kyrie to a defensive camp, drafted Nerlens Noel, signed Paul George and my defense went from high twenties to top five ranking. Nobody can score on him, including Durant. So in that regard he may be a TAD overrated, but not much. I never saw him actually play live tho.

i've watched every Pacer game this year I know how he plays I'm not exaggerating one bit maybe about him being better then Granger but Granger will never be the same after this nagging injury.

            Re: Paul George

PG is the best overall perimeter defender in the NBA right now. His mid range shot is actually pretty good but his shot selection in this area is rather bad. He is often looked to as the Pacers go to scorer and it shows in the fact that he ends up taking some bad shots. He is also the best rebounding wing in the NBA by a large margin. I think an 88 would not be out of the question considering is defensive abilities.

He's fine, maybe better on ball d and worse 3pt shooting. He's pretty overrated by people considering he's not even a top 25 scorer in the league.

There's more to basketball than just scoring...

Of course, New York just found that out this past Sunday.

really? because stats and eye tests say other wise.

lol paul george is secretly clutch.

he DOESNT have closer on my roster--just to get that out the way to make this more suprising.

0-9 in the game from 3, in the first 46 minutes.

last 2 minutes of the game he drains 5 straight 3's all contested to send it to OT lol

He lead the league in DWS and was Top 5 for opponents' PER during the regular season. Josh Smith was a size matchup problem in the ATL/IND series that they were trying to exploit when they went big. Otherwise, David West was a size matchup problem for Josh Smith when they went small.

it was said perimiter, that means PG SG SF not josh smith

regular season, avery bradley was statistically and "player/coach" the best on-ball perimiter defender, nobody defends like he does, nobody.

but in the playoffs, PGeorge is by far the best--Lebrons D is overated

My bad. I didn't know if you was using the first round as your eye test. In that series, Josh Smith played the 3 for the final four games, because David West was dogging him in the post .

To be fair, I haven't watch that many Celtic games, so I don't have a real opinion on Bradley.
