Shawn Wyatt was recently interviewed by the Dallas Morning News and asked about his decision to attend UK rather than UTA.

Reporter: What intrigued you so much about the Wildcats to choose them over UTA?

S. Wyatt: The tradition of the program is just amazing and I'd love to be apart of that.

Reporter: Did Coach Cal make any promises to you that swayed you to choose his program?

S. Wyatt: Coach Cal walked into my home in his suit and told me that if I came to Kentucky and practiced hard that I might get to start. I thought to myself this is the Coach for me.

Reporter: Do you know of any other guys planning to join you at Kentucky?

S. Wyatt: No not really. I haven't heard of any other guys with interest. I would love to get a big man here so I can run the pick and roll with him and open up the shooters.

Reporter: Do you believe the team has a legit shot at making the Final Four.

S. Wyatt: I think we have the team to do it. I don't want to sound cocky or anything, but I have the confidence that I can help this team win it all.
