Stamina is terrible for almost every player over 6'9. Regardless of how many minutes they play in real life.

Disagree. The Grizzlies play their bigs almost the entire 1st quarter. In 2k, Marc Gasol is nearly down to 3 bars of energy after 1 minute of a slow paced game. The court is too small for the bigs to dominate

you said gasol has 3/5 bars after 1 minute but disagree that stamina is poor for big men?? im confused

the bigger issue with stamina is the bruiser sig..

it takes a guy who gets tired in 3 minutes, to tired in 15 seconds

i am agreeing with you. Stamina in 2k is terrible for almost anyone over 6'9.

So we can all agree the teams who focus on post game such as teams that bang down low and score scrappy shots aren't as good as they really are

Basically when your player is fatigued his attributes drop, making the game balance out as you really can't keep shooting like your fresh for the whole game.

I think the fatigue for big men is there to balance the game out. If your big men didn't fatigue at a rapid rate, you'll have guys like Howard & Bynum scoring 100pts a game as they would just sit in the paint standing dunking all game. The post play is not like how it was in 2k12. I need the abilities category back in the game. It would be nice to know if a player is good, great, poor or average in the different shots in the game such as runners, step backs, hook etc. With the tendencies you just see numbers, with Howard who has the least post moves of any Center in the league can make shimmy moves like The Dream all day in the paint, hooks & up & unders. If he didn't get tired you wouldn't be able to stop him.

Re: What team do you feel 2K Can't Represent Well

I don't know about teams, but I know Serge Ibaka is not well represented in the game due to the rarity of blocked dunks (and even lay ups to a lesser degree). This is a guy who has lead the NBA in blocks the last 3 seasons and has had multiple games of 10+ blocks in his career. But in 2K13, once someone initiates that dunk animation, all Ibaka is going to do is make the poster.

I'm not saying he should be blocking every dunk (he's been dunked on plenty of times in his career), but there should be a little more of an intimidation factor about going to the rim while he's in the game. This simply isn't present. For the most part, you'll dunk/lay it up on him just like anyone else in the game so why worry about it?

On the offensive end, he's primarily a mid-range jump shooter who gets a few putbacks and dunks. But in 2K13, it's easier to either use his standing dunk rating to posterize the defender, or initiate an up-n-under move that's difficult to stop for most people.

My mistake I see what you're saying. In 2k, size isn't an advantage to a run and gun team. The bigs get tired way too easily. The collisions in the lane are also unrealistic and rare. No ability to block shots besides chase downs. Man to man defense needs to be improved otherwise 2k will continue to be what it is now.
