They rush the game out and ship it broken and just think they can fix it later if not o well.

Not allot of people would buy the same game every year just with a few changes for $60. Patches and roster updates are part of the cost. I would be fine with no patches if they could release a game not broken on release. But this last gen company's know they can get away with it now.
U say nobody will but all sports game sell u the same game every year and ppl still buy... Yes it's the norm but like I said if u pay a monthly fee or something and they actually make more money for doing so then they would be more inclined to update them more often and more accurately... As it is now they do a few changes just to appease the masses and they get away with it... Why would the spend serious money/time on updates past the patch and not have more money coming in

Nah. Smith should have a low 70s mid ranged shot. He shoots Js too much even though he is not that good at them. Been like that the majority of his career

in regards to the inflated blake griffin ratings: i always wondered if the cover athletes got a ratings boost from 2k as a "perk" of being on the cover. seems like whenever a guy is on the cover they give him crazy skills in the game.

Ya I was wrong with Rashids's. it looked very good until I put it under the microscope last night.

He does very weird things. Like gives bums 99 block 90+ def awareness. He has like 10 players with 99 block. Give Lebron 75 def awareness but than gives players like Hasbett, and Greg Stiemsma 90 def awareness and 99 block and makes these bench players studs.

Its not hard to edit rosters just takes time. Just got to throw up 82games.com and hoopdata.

However, I do agree that guys like Josh Smith and Blake Griffin should have much lower ratings from mid.

Ya those are some of the good bigs that can shoot.

From my research last night I did every center and PF. Working on the guards now.

              I averaged 10-15ft jumpers and 16-23ft.

              David Lee shots at 40%
              Aldridge 45%
              Landry 41%

              Ibaka shoots at 52%
              Scola 44%
              Dirk 51%
              Griffin 34%
              Bass 45%
              Josh Smith 28%

              Cousins 31%
              Bosh 42%
              Marc Gasol 48%
              Garnett 47%
              Duncan 44%

Thats just a few. The few that stand out are Josh Smith, Cousins can't shoot period. And Griffin should be anywhere from 70-75. Landry can shoot and Gasol shoots as good as anyone.

Im not a stat whore I just use them to weed out the BS from the 2k insider. I'm not going to give Gasol a 90 mid range shot but I will give him +10 to give him a 80 mid range. And give like Griffin -5 an Josh Smith -15. Even though Ibaka shoots the best % at 52% I keep him as is at 85 mid range even though dirk shoots 51% and has a 92 rating.

Just makes it easy to get players int he area they should be and weed out the dumb 2k insider.

Perhaps it's to make up for the fact that if they are touched even a little they turn over the ball. I suppose you can change their ratings to your liking.

When ever I play against the Clippers controlled by AI, Griffins mid range is money. That's just ridiculous considering he can barely make those in real life.
